Cedar City Creamery — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

So im from out of town. Ate at mulligans (also great) and asked where I can get ice cream. They recommended cedar city creamery. The long line at the drive thru in 60 degree weather let me know i made the right choice. Line went fast. When we got to the front we were met with 2 of the most welcoming smiles on 2 young ladies that were very nice. I asked if the snow cream was like a blizzard and response was yup but better. My buddy got a shake and his didnt last for the 5 minute drive to the hotel. My oreo snow cream had oreo to the very bottom unlike fast food where its just on top and vanilla on bottom. You know when you leave a place and say "man they were nice", well that was this place for us. The ice cream and people were phenomenal. Very rude staff. My fiancé and I came in and didn’t know what to order, so we were trying to decide what to get. The staff were looking at us like we were insane just because we were taking a little longer to order, and they were making me INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. They kept staring at us and talking about us when we were right there in front of the counter. It was to the point where I decided to just leave and go to four queens instead, and when we walked out the lady at the counter looked at me like I was crazy. Waste of time, especially with four queens being cheaper...

It was our first time here. Our son recommended this fabulous ice cream shop and boy did it exceed our expectations. The staff was soo friendly. We ordered small snow creams and as you can see from the picture it is more like a large. Very generous portions and soo tasty. Love the small town feel of Cedar City Creamery. They also have various flavored ice creams as pictured. If you are ever in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area, please visit them, you will not be disappointed.
