Great service, wonderful atmosphere, best tea ever! Staff is always friendly and helpful. The business is always clean and inviting to all. Also, you must try the deserts and pastries. They are as amazing as the teas! Update: 11/13/2023 Today we stopped in for another big bag of the Gunslinger Green Tea (my favorite tea over ice). While there we got a large Gunslinger over ice of course, and my spouse's favorite is Cream Caramel Decaf. We also enjoyed the Red Velvet and Monster Cookies. We got to visit with the owner (wonderful person). She was busy putting mail orders together to ship out across the USA. Yes, the Tea Cellar ships their teas. Like bagged tea? You'll love looseleaf tea brewed right. GOOD A wide variety of teas: white, green, black, rooibos, matcha, and herbal blends (technically not tea). Plenty of seating. Cute teacups. Tea supplies. BAD I doubt that anyone working there knows anything about tea. Did they know that the best temperature of the water and steeping time should vary considerably depending on the type of tea? Do they know what's the difference between black, green, and white tea leaves? The tea blends have a lot of "natural" flavoring added. Like herbal teas but (like me) loathe hibiscus? You are SOL because every herbal packet I looked at included hibiscus. Blech. Baked goods are meh but reasonably priced. Staff are ... low-energy and aren't welcoming. They stand behind the counter wearing blank looks waiting for customers to address them. Slow! Want a baked item warmed up? You'll wait a while even when the shop isn't busy. Our adult son Andrew has ordered tea for some time from Tea Cellar. He has us in mind and provides a portion of each order for some years now. We placed an order last week only to find one bag of tea open at the top and spilling out of its bag. We lost possibly 1/3 of the bag. Upon calling the store we were connected with the ownder who recalled placing our order. She was so pleasant. She recalled orders from our son over the years and his reviews of find tea from Tea Cellar. At the conclusion of the call her solution was to send us a bag of the same tea in hopes that we would be satisfied. We are more than satisfied! Such kindness and care for customers is what makes such a business a success for us. We will be ordering again, as will our son knowing the care we will receive from Tea Cellar.
