Atmosphere was great drinks were nice and staff was friendly⊠Had a great time until my wife (Scientologist) decided to pray while the cowboys were playing and well, it must have ruffled some all American feathers across the way because out of nowhere two fascists disguised in blue and white cowboys jerseys and foaming at the mouth approached my sweet and unsuspecting wife and DEMANDED that she pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands while she âpublicly denounce her faith and convert to the holy religion that is (and this is where they began to yell) THE TRUTH AND GOSPEL AS AMERICA KNOWS IT, âDEM TEXAS COWBOââââ
And before the man could finish his sentence, a young lady (who couldnât have been more than 22) stopped them dead in their tracks as she passed perfectly between them and my terrified wife with tray hoisted above her head and balanced on merely two fingers which contained three immaculately plated, generously portioned and carefully seasoned seafood dinners which were SO aromatic that the very sight and scent of them seemed to transform these once vicious gentleman into proper, polite and inclusive Americans as they quietly retreated back into their booth, delicately tucked their black linens into the necks of their jerseys, and partook in what must have been the greatest meals of their lives
And then before WE knew it, this PATRIOT of a woman (who must have taken dance lessons) gracefully moonwalked the entire perimeter of the dining room in perfect synchronicity to the Zydeco song that was playing over the loud speakers and refilled every drink in the entire dining area, and then BY NAME, told each diner at least one lovely thing about them
Then finally after finishing our Crescent City Mud Sundae, the mystical waitress (who definitely had a 4.0 in college) dropped off an origami receipt in the shape of Kramer from Seinfeld, my FAVORITE show- and explained that our meal was paid in full by NONE OTHER than the two angry cowboys from before
And⊠Well
I donât know about you, but I think itâs fair to say that this humble server (whos probably done these things before) single-handedly stopped the unfolding of a religious hate crime, simultaneously accommodated at least 68 guests, and without bloodshed or a hair out of place, redefined and expanded what it means to be a server in the service industry
That day my wife and I stopped by for dinner but we left changed forever
So the next time youâre in Cedar Hill, stop by Razzoos, if not for their hot and steamy cup of seafood Gumbo, then at the very least to sit in the section, nay the PRESENCE, of an All American hero, TYLER FROM RAZZOOS
10/10 THANK U KINDLY FOR...

I can honestly say, with no hyperbole, that this is the ABSOLUTE WORST restauruant that I have ever had the displeasure to patronize! Where to even start...this restaurant is an absolute disaster, filled with seemingly racist, uncaring, and unqualified staff. I wouldn't even want my worst enemy to eat here. To start, we arrived in the evening during a busy time, though the wait was upwards of an hour, the restauraunt was only half full. However, this can easily be explained by staffing challenges. After electing to sit at a very full bar, my wife and I waited 30-45 minutes JUST TO BE GREETED! Once we finally were greeted, the server/bartender was rude, condescending, seemingly racist, and utterly under qualified for their job. Nevertheless, we ordered our drinks only to find the the pinot noir was far spoiled. 20 minutes later we were finally able to flag down our server, after many many failed attempts (it seems like they were ignoring us). We then proceeded to order a salad and an app as an entree since my wife doesnt eat much. The salad comes out first, which is poor serving skills and a fundamentally incorrect way to operate as a restauraunt. However, they were busy and we are all human so I was willing to excuse the latest error in this farce of a dining experience. But time ticks by; 10 minutes turns to 20, to 30 to an hour. All the while, we are desperately trying to flag down our server, to no avail. Finally, 30 minutes after having recieved our salad, someone who looks to be a bar manager stops by and asks if we have received our second item, alligator tail. We indicate we have not, and they say "okay". No apology, no ownership, nothing. Another 30 minutes pass by and our alligator tail comes out overcooked, cold, and absolutely disgusting. We still elected to leave a tip, but to be clear, this entire restauraunt staff should be out of a job and should leave the restauruant industry and maybe the job market entirely, if they bring this level of apathy to any other job. It should also be mentioned that we were the only Caucasian and Asian patrons, and this seemed to play a part in the staff's treatment as they attended to everyone else in a better manner though still untimely even for a busy restaurant.
I will never eat here again, and if you are considering it do yourself a favor and don't. Go next...
Read more*PLEASE READ BEFORE EATING HERE servers are great but as someone who worked here , i wouldnât advise my worst enemy to eat here. probably one of, if not the nastiest environment iâve ever worked in. they have people touching your food without glove consistently. iâve seen men cough in their hands and without even rinsing, go right back to touching your food. roaches, flies, nats, anything you can think of right where youâre eating. iâve hand to, on many occasions, reclean silverware and plates. not to mention this was probably the most hostile work environment iâve ever been in. the general manager ,David Carney and assistant manager, Channah Gomez were often short tempered, irritated, and over all rude not only to me , but the servers working alongside me. i got into a wreck and they still wanted me to find a way there. David even argues with employees AND customers over issues that can be easily fixed. i changed my availability and was scheduled for a time i was no longer available. i took issue to David (as he is the GM) to which i was met with very hostile behavior. he said to me verbatim âyou keep talking about the schedule what do you want?â to which i reply âwoah calm down , weâre having a simple conversationâ to which he then replied âbc you keep talking to meâ. absolutely unnecessary and unprovoked. I was fired due to a disagreement with david that he apparently took to heart. heâd asked me why i went to my car and i told him for a personal reason. I asked him if he needed to know he said âwhen youâre on my clock i need to know exactly where you areâ. i then stated i went to my car for a feminine care product to which he then replied âyou do not leave this building with our telling me first , am i understoodâ, i expressed that i understood what he was saying , but they way he said it was completely unprofessional and then he repeated him self ending his statement with âam i understoodâ i then replied ânoâ because i didnât appreciate the unprofessional tone. the next day i called in because i threw up. it was marked as a no call no show. David is not the only person to crest this work environment, the cooks and busser are very touch with servers, which was disgusting and never corrected. we were told to tell...
