Im a previous employee and i know theres a place for these kinds of complaints yet they keep getting ignored and taken down as if theyre trying to hide the bad management. Before i put my 2 weeks in my job was offered to another employee and my hours were given to another employee. The new hire was told the reason i was leaving was because im not good at my job which is BS cause ive covered so many shifts including the managers and assistant managers shifts. The managers cant bother to show up for their shifts or dont want to stay their whole shifts and put the work off onto everyone else. I had come home so stressed and feeling unappreciated that i was crying and my boyfriend made a yelp review to try to get it seen and it was taken down. One of my last days, there was a team meeting called and the manager christie text me and i quote "will you come in uniform and make smoothies during the meeting I dont care if you hear what i have to say" that was my one day off so when i told her i couldnt stay any longer after she asked me to she got an attitude and said she had to go tell her family meaning she was planning on leaving her own shift and having me cover on my day off so she could go do whatever and thats a constant situation. She picks favorites and gossips about employees. Barely shows up to do her job. Shes even shown up at my house to make sure i was going to cover her shift in the morning because she was "sick" were in the middle of a pandemic if youre sick dont show up to my house wth.....its just totally unprofessional and corporate keeps ignoring employee complaints. Please do go check the previous employee reviews on indeed theres a lot worse reviews on there yet christie is still managing....nothing is being done this is an unprofessional work place and needs to be shut down or under...
Read moreOur kids were craving smoothies, so we scooted on over to Smoothie King. We walked in and noticed some of the lights were being turned off. We asked "are you still open?" to which a young man behind the counter replied "for about another 30 seconds" in a very sarcastic way. He never made eye contact and looked very put out that we were there. My husband asked if he could still make us smoothies and the young man stood behind the register and asked "what do you want." His tone was rude and unfriendly. We ordered 3 smoothies as quickly as we could. He turned around while another young man was spraying and sanitizing. The boys were obviously ready to get out of there as quickly as possible, discussing "you do this and then I'll finish that." Never once did he or the other boy make eye contact, show any manners, make small talk, or act friendly in any way. We would have had no problem leaving if he had said the store was closed, but he made the decision to let us order, so he should have treated us like any other customer who comes into the store during the day. When he rung us us he placed the last smoothie on the counter and, once again, identified which shake was what when i asked, yet still didn't make eye contact. He then said "have a nice night," as fast and under his breathe as possible while turning around to get busy preparing to leave. I'm sure the boys were ready to get out of there and go do whatever they wanted to do, but their lack of good customer service was a real turn off. I was informed that the issue I had with an employee Jazz was corrected by Christy the manager and I wouldn’t have to deal with it again. Well I was informed incorrectly I placed an order over the phone get to the location to pick up my smoothie. The young lady Jazz was in front by herself apparently Gabby wasn’t there. I actually should have known because when I ordered over the phone I had to repeat myself several times what I wanted. I get the same smoothie every time spinach pineapple. This shouldn’t be to complicated at all. That smoothie was so nasty I basically just given smoothie king $9.00 as a donation. From Jazzmine missing the spinach on one of my previous orders to chunks of ice in this smoothie it’s getting even worse.This smoothie had no pineapple taste in it at all. Today was the last straw for smoothie king for me. This was very disappointing to me. This location really needs to get a better staff for mornings. I don’t understand why is it so complicated to follow the instructions on making the smoothies for her. I can say there are several employees at my company comes here in the morning’s daily.
