Copy and paste except this is the ONLY Wendy's that's absolutely horrible for dine in wait times.
I absolutely love paying premium prices just to have my order wrong. There's a lot more issues in general with fast food chains and customers are leaving in droves over it. We are absolutely get sick of long wait times unless you're in drive through, old fries even though it takes 20 minutes to get the food
and for crying out loud keep your ketchup dispenser stocked.
No one want to rip open 10 damn ketchup packets, birth said ketchup packets and then tear open 30 tiny paper pepper packets. You know how long that takes?? Even if you get fresh fries with quick food delivery the fries aren't fresh after that process.. bring back the damn salt and pepper shakers at the tables, the pandemic is over 🙄
Seriously this irks me
Wendy's in general is pretty good as a whole but they are on a fast decline. It's sad because they have been my go to spot for years; I went on a 10 year eating strike with McDonald's over constantly putting pickles on a burger when asked for none. Wendy's is impeccable when it comes to assembling a well assembles sammich so kiddos to you on that!!
10/17/24 10:30 pm 42nd ST Ordered a Dave's double no sauce and pickle ad ghost pepper ranch. Got a single jr with everything else correct.. do better, people work hard and people need to realize how absolutely infuriating it is to go to an establishment and constantly get there orders wrong whilst paying premium prices.
Wendy's has increasingly gotten worse on giving correct orders. Don't get me wrong, they are no where on the level of McDonald's on messing up orders.

Remember how chipotle had people recording them putting together the bowls because they where skimping on ingredients, specifically the proteins and the ceo came out and said if you want a little extra give them the look? If you haven't look it up he got roasted online for it. Remember the "chipotle look" because I had to give it to a shorter, younger albino kid. No judgement, he's just albino.
I ordered in the lobby a "larger chili with all the extras and hot sauce".
He asked would you like cheese and onions. I replied is that an extra? He said nothing and added it on. This is important to note because it signals he heard and understood my original request.
He then asks if I want sour cream and this is when I gave him the "chipotle look" and he understood the assignment
He did offer a lid once once given the chili so I did actually appreciate it even tho it was a dine in order.
Everything is on the screen, read it and if you can't function high at work don't come to work stoned. Or maybe smoke a jizzy and not blizzy.
I don't think Collins road kid was high or necessarily the ones at 42nd street but we all have been in the restaurants/fast food and if you...
Read moreThis wendy's is awful. I will never be going here again. I went there with my Grandma, boyfriend, friend, and my son and we waited in line forever because the person taking orders didn't really know what he was doing. Once we got up to the front of the line my grandma made her order, but their register went down so we had to move to the other one. He didn't put her food into the other register and I asked if he got it, but he didn't seem to care, so I reordered for her. Then I told him "this next order is going to be kind of complicated so pay attention." I said this in a nice tone at first. And he placed the order but he put it in their wrong even after I asked him to fix it he argued with me about if it was wrong. It eventually got to the point that I just had to write my order down. They gave us 8 sandwiches when we ordered 4. They still made the one special sandwich I asked for wrong. We just gave up on trying to fix it and just ate the food anyway. After we had finished my boyfriend went to talk to the manager. He told him how they messed up a bunch and we just didn't want to deal with it anymore so we ate it anyway. So they gave us free combo cards. We said thank you and left. The next night we returned to this wendy's and the same guy who messed up our order a ton was there at the register. I walked up and said "you may remember me from yesterday, and I'm sorry for asking this, but can I please have someone else take my order because I don't want it messed up again." he got someone else to take my order and walked in back. The manager came up to the front and got mad at me for asking for someone else. There is a law stating I can ask whomever I want to take my order. I simply asked for someone else. There was no reason for the manager to come up and get mad at me for it. He told me to go to a different wendy's and kicked me and my family out of there for simply asking for someone else to take my order. I've worked in fast food and I know how stressful it can be. I've dealt with customers who were way more rude than I was being or even trying to be. I was very calm for the most part. My family will no longer be eating at this wendy's because of the poor customer service, the manager working there, and the HORRIBLE listening skills. I understand messing up a couple of times. But when I told him my order 5 times I am going to get frustrated, and I'm going to ask for someone else to take my order. Also, the manager was never nice to me at all. They are the ones who are supposed to help fix their crew members mistakes and make the customer feel like they will get what they asked for. What I was taught is the customer is always right. This wendy's doesn't understand the definition of that, people skills, or listening. If you're asking me I would tell you to never go to...
Read moreI enjoy eating at Wendy’s. I love the food (for fast food). But this particular Wendy’s is terrible. The manager here proceeded to kick me out because I politely requested that someone else rings up my order. I had been at this location previously and I have a very particular order (no difficulty when I go to any other Wendy’s). I had been there the day before and some kid had his first day, and messed up my order about 8 times and proceeded to argue with me telling me that I was incorrect in what I was ordering, even though I had done this often. So finally a different employee kindly apologized and fixed it for me. So they also gave me a ticket stating that I could get two free meals at any Wendy’s. Due to convenience, I returned to the same Wendy’s the following day to redeem the free meals because I was in a hurry. I walked in and saw the kid that got mad the previous day. So I politely requested that someone else ring me up because it was lunch time and there was a big line, therefore I did not want to hold them up since the kid was new. Then, the kid walked to the back and told his manager that he was about to quit on his second day. So the manager came out and refused us service because we were supposedly “treating his staff poorly and making them want to quit”. However, I was extremely polite to everyone both times. If the kid couldn’t handle someone being polite about “complaint”, he shouldn’t be working in fast food anyway. There are very rude customers out there, and I can only imagine how he’d handle them. This specific location has terrible service and I haven’t been there since. This has been around 1 year ago, and I still haven’t gone back, nor will...
