This place is not very good, takes a lot of time, and is expensive. It is also very unorganized. I tried coming here for dinner a few weeks ago and they said they were out of chicken. It was early dinner time. Weird. I came by today for lunch and got a Korean chicken hot bowl and my daughter got the ramen with chicken. Two lunch entrees and two tiny sodas ($2.50 each) and it came to over $32, not including the tip. They seemed to forget our food, other diners who came in after us were served before us. They also didn't bring us the food, like we were told they would, which is fine but this was our first (and last time) eating here and we didn't know that you have to go to the counter. The whole ordering process was kind of ridiculous and they were pretty rude. After 30 minutes of ordering, and seeing others get their food, I went up to the counter to see what was going on. They seemed confused and thought they had already given us our ramen... Nope. I feel like they may have misplaced our ticket. When we did get our food, it had the egg that I requested to NOT have running all over my food. Ick. I pointed this out and all they did was pick it off. Didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get a new order, even though they didn't offer to remake it. It was so salty and greasy. I also did NOT get the miso soup that was supposed to come with my meal, as per the menu and, I did not get the option to choose brown rice (on the menu: Traditional Korean bibimbap. Edible green, royal fam. Eggplant, wild green, dried zucchini, potato root, dried platycodon. Choice of white or brown rice. Served with soup). What a rip off. I did like that they are family owned and there were veggies but that is not enough for me to go back. Not a very...

Came here for the first time with a friend. They ordered at the kiosk but i ordered up front because I only had cash. They got the regular bibimbop but I ordered the San chae bibimbop because the description of root vegetables sounded enticing. I added a sausage onto my order, put it in a hot bowl, and got a spam masubi and spring rolls to share as an appetizer with my friend. My total was $45! I asked for an itemized receipt and saw I was charged $7 for a spicy sausage link. I said “it shows only a $1 more surcharge for premium protein on the menu?” The manager guy comes up and says it does not apply to the San chae. I said well that should have been clarified thatd itd be a 7$ surcharge and not the 1$ surcharge it shows on the menu. He asks me if it’s fine and I’m like whatever dude. I get my bowl and it’s neat that it’s hot and steamy but it takes about 15 minutes for it to cool down enough to eat. It makes the rice a bit crisp which I liked. But sitting across my friend who got the food to go seemed like she had more food than me? besides, the only difference in vegetables on my plate and hers were maybe only two and the rest were the same. And the fact that a single sausage costed 7$ is blowing my mind. Felt super ripped off because I can get unlimited protein from a kbbq for the same price, and this place just was unwelcoming, dark and overpriced. The main entree food is good but don’t deviate from what’s on the menu. I will...

This review makes me sad, and I hope it doesn't anger the owners but rather inspires them. Korean food is a passionate love for me and my family (having Korean heritage and growing up in Korea). So it was a wonderful godsend to have a Korean restaurant relatively close and one that seemed to enjoy making good Korean food. However, over the past year, the quality has suffered. Perhaps it is becoming more popular, and I am familiar with the fact that expenses have gone up. But there is no doubt that the quality has gone down. The kimchi stew, such a flavorful and basic stew for any Korean, is overly sour and salty. The kimbap, again a staple for any Korean place, is lacking in fresh flavor, letting the seaweed overwhelm the ingredients within. The bimbimbap, a wonderful dish that I was so excited to share with my family, has become very bland. Considering the cost of Korean food here in Denver, to receive this meal was disappointing. I want to support this restaurant more; I truly do. I think I will give it one more chance at a random point in the future. If it disappoints again, I will strongly suggest other Korean restaurants over Bap and Gogi. To the owners and cooks at Bap and Gogi: I am not angry. Just sad and disappointed. Please improve the quality and raise the standards. Your place deserves it, and your patrons deserve...

This place was so incredibly yummy! I was looking for a place that did tteokbokki and I was not disappointed! The level of spiciness was perfect, and the fish cake and tteok had just the right chewiness. The masubi and the mandu were both incredible and very flavorful. I felt like I was eating a true mukbang and my son and I ordered more mandu because they were so delicious! I've wanted authentic Korean food for so long, and I was not disappointed. I'll definitely be going back for more!! The service was great, and they cook to order, so everything was freshly made and was piping hot and delicious when it was ready. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Denver!

I wouldn’t say everyone was *super* friendly, but I would say that the food was very good and made to order. I got musubi and Bibimbap and cucumber kimchi to go. It was all super delicious. It’s set in a small row of restaurants with an opening you need to look out for to make your turn.
