I adore Freddy's food. They are the only restaurant to ever have the PERFECT fries. Nothing beats those fries. Every single one is perfectly crispy, not a single floppy/squishy one in the batch. I don't know how they do it but get the chilly cheese fries and you'll be in heaven.
In addition their custard is FANTASTIC. Say goodbye to that stuff that Sonic calls "ice cream" and say hello to rich, creamy, thick custard with so many custom options for toppings.
The only complaints I have about this particular location is that, first of all, it was very dirty. And every time I go there they always manage to give us one less order of fries than we ordered. The staff is a little distracted and not super friendly or personable. But that's a minor issue.
I also wish they had actual cheesecake bites for toppings rather than just a cheesecake flavor. Maybe they do have cheesecake bites but if they do then they leave it off every time I ask for it.
Anyway, definitely don't miss this place! The food is amazing.
EDIT: I downgraded my review from four stars to three stars because I've been there a few more times now and they really can't get our orders right. They are still consistently always missing a fry (oddly specific but true). And we ordered two plain cheeseburgers and made CERTAIN they understood that they were completely plain, and the waitress even confirmed that she had heard us but when we got home both cheeseburgers were not plain at all. We contacted corporate and they said they will work with the store and hopefully things will get better. It is a new store so definitely give them a break and don't avoid the store just because they've made a few mistakes so far. I will upgrade my rating as soon as I notice an...
Read moreI was getting my boyfriends order from here and the dude treated me like some sort of thief because I didn't have the GrubHub ticket, even though I described the entire order and was listed as the person for pickup (also, we ordered on Google? and there was a digital charge of $6.49 that wasn't anywhere until I saw the receipt.) Whatever, got that sorted. The only reason this place has 2 starts in the services is because of the sweet older lady who saw my order wasn't closed fully and came to fix it so my food wouldn't get cold- really appreciated that so much and it was super sweet, she's the only good thing about this location. Unfortunately, I failed to realize the order was wrong. It was a double French onion steak burger, chili cheese fries, and a REGULAR concrete dirt worms with half vanilla half chocolate, extra gummy worms. Everything else was fine except for the custard- which was sent out as a small and entirely melted. The fact that it's the wrong size AND completely melted just tells me this was intentional, so we won't be coming here again in the near future. Also, the receipt said 30.25- but I was charged 32.29- along with the hidden 6.49 digital fee and the price differentce from a regular to a small, then the extra 2 dollars on my account, it leaves me to wonder just really what is going on here. I'll assume Bryce, the manager,...
Read moreThought I’d try it out since it’s new here and I’ve never had it before so I went one night to the drive-thru. I got a double California burger, fries and their chili. When I got to eat it, I was highly disappointed. The burgers and fries were instantly cold and the meat was so thin you could actually see light through the patties. The meat was also completely unseasoned. It just tasted like overcooked plain meat and was so bland.
The burger as a whole was falling apart. I’m not a fan of using shredded lettuce for burgers as it just falls all over the place. I have long hair and I had to pick fallen lettuce out of it several times. Not to mention it was overpriced for the thinnest meat patties I’ve ever seen. Come to think of it, that’s probably why it was so cold.
The chili was also lacking. To me it was slimy and didn’t have a good savory flavor to it, it didn’t really have any flavor at all. Honestly, I wish I could get a refund. Unfortunately I won’t be...
