I’ve been doing takeout from this restaurant since I moved here over 15 years ago. We’ve gone here less over the years because it’s not close to our home now, and a half hour to 45 minute round trip. However during the pandemic, we’ve tried to support small and as a result we’ve done takeout from here more often over the last almost year. Well. Today was our last time. We ordered online, arrived at the designated pickup time. We were told it would be a couple of minutes to finish the entrees. No problem. 15 minutes later we checked in - is this ready yet? “No, we are finishing the dumplings, they take extra time”. Um, ok. 25 minutes later. So where are we with this order? It was supposed to be ready a half hour ago. “The kitchen is still working on it.” Ok, so can I talk to a manager? “No.” Can you please get the manager? “No.” Finally 35 minutes after our order time someone comes out with our order letting us know they added the extra food due to the “kitchen being behind”. They finally admitted they missed our online order and it wasn’t made until we inquired about our order when we arrived. Rather than be honest, we sat in the lobby for 35 minutes while we were told “a few more minutes”. When my husband asked why they couldn’t just be honest so we knew what to expect they told us we were welcome to not come back if we didn’t like it. So going forward we’ll support another small business and save ourselves the 45 minute commute, and the higher...

Our family of 5 just left our Christmas dinner there. We arrived just after 4:30 pm and it’s 6:30 pm now. After ordering several items that were not available because they already sold out for the day I was told by the server to order something she suggested would not take the kitchen long. First, my daughter’s meal came and it was ice cold. We sent back and she finally received a new one. Everyone else was served one at a time. Yet I still never got mine. My husband also ordered one of their house specials Mongolian Beef. The whole dish was onions with just a couple pieces of beef. Where they running low on that too? They should have just not served the dish rather than a plate of onions. Finally after everyone ate I still had not received mine. We kept hearing excuses. Finally we left and I never even was served my dinner. The service was awful besides me never getting my food. We are typically big tippers especially at Christmas. We also understand delays, but this is was uncalled for and ruined our Christmas dinner. Don’t worry we didn’t tip big and won’t be back. I highly recommend to NOT go here if you like...

This place is by far THEE WORST ASIAN CUISINE Ive ever had in my life and Im pretty easy to please. I will say the lady at the door seemed nice and professional. I ordered the combo fried rice entree ($11.50+tax) and the General Thao Chicken Lunch Special (10.50+tax). The entire lunch special smelled very very strong of human urine. I refused to eat it. Then my combo fried rice came with only chicken bits and pork bits (which was very hard to tell the differentiate between the two) veggies like peas and carrots and literally 2 shrimp. First time ive ever seen combo fried rice not include beef and includes only 2 pieces of shrimp. I called the restaurant to confirm if the combo fried rice in fact doesnt include beef and if its only supposed to have 2 shrimp in there. The lady stated that normally the combo fried rice does not include beef and that it usually comes with 3 or 4 pieces of shrimp. And my total came to just under $25. The combo rice tasted so bland! And since I knew there was no use in me complaining or requesting a refund so instead I opted to leave this review. Absolute worst money Ive spent on food...

Our visit was surely one to remember. We ordered a full meal with appetizers (Combination Lo Mein, Shrimp With Asparagus, Wonton Soup, Crispy Spring Rolls, Shrimp Lettuce Wraps and 2 Apple Martinis). Everything came to the table hot and was presented well. There were just a couple of parties in the restaurant when we arrived but many more people had arrived by the time we left. This place does get busy around 5pm and we left just as the rush got started. There is a very dark and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant, with ethnic decor kept very neat and orderly. The service was top notch. Every ordered item came out quickly and was steaming hot. By the time one course was finished, the next course was ready to be served. We arrived at 4:30pm and left within 30 minutes. Overall, this was a very nice occasion and was met with an equally nice tip! This is our favorite Asian restaurant in the area, without question. From takeout to dine in, the food is consistently fresh and served quickly. Five stars!

Amazing! Fabulous! After 12 years in Denver, and after our 1st three years of trying local Chinese restaurants, all awful, gave up... until today. Thankfully we took a chance on Hoongs.... trip advisor reviews 100 percent absolutely right on the money!! Really nice place, upscale decor, top notch service, impressive. The food was so fresh, so delicious, so yummy!! We tried the Lemon Chicken, best I've ever had. Also tried the CHOW FUN, beef with egg noodles, onions, carrots and just fabulous!!!! And finally, the COMBO FRIED RICE, which has been where everyone else has failed miserably. But not here, this Fried Rice was fresh, lots of chicken, veggies, pork and jumbo shrimp!! The best we've had in our 12 yrs in Denver. We just had to write this review. Lots to choose from on their menu, spicy, hot, mild, traditional. Soups, Appetizers and so many entrees!! Highly recommended. If you love Chinese food, this place is a must and worth the drive, no matter where you are!!!!
