I really enjoy going to Resolute. It can get loud inside sometimes, but that's just because there are lots of people who enjoy the place. Their beers are very enjoyable. Yes, $7 a pint (or even per 10oz) can be steep, but that's becoming the industry standard, they are merely doing what everyone else is. It's not so bad when their beer is so good. :)
One thing that makes Resolute stand out is the people who work there. They are very friendly and truly genuine. You can't always guarantee that elsewhere like you can here. But let's get back to their beers. Great variety, first off. And then you can tell they are having fun. That's what makes a great brewery, in my opinion. They are also my favorite (read: most enjoyable) size of brewery; not too big, not too small. Again, wonderful selection of styles--they don't go off the deep end with any particular style, yet they don't stray away from trying something new, as well. All in all, a great brewery with all the things going for them currently.
Oh and they offer happy hour discounted prices. That is certainly something you don't find often at other breweries. Shows just how much they care about their customers because they could probably get away just fine if they didn't offer this perk. Geeks who Drink on Wednesdays. Always a good food truck there (you can tell they are also happy with Resolute's customers). Keep up...
Read moreNice space and I like the curved bar. I got a taster tray of 6 samples. They had some stuff that really intrigued me. Overall I was pretty disappointed in the beers that I tried. My rating are usually based solely on the beers so I would have to go with 2.5 stars.
Dry hopped blonde - I couldn't tell that it was dry hopped at all. It was okay.
Hoppy German Pilsner - A style I am very familiar with. Did not taste at all like a g pils to me. Had a very grainy character and the hop profile just didn't seem to fit the bill.
Peach Belgian Blonde - Best of what I tried. Not quite as dry and refreshing as I would like but pretty solid. Peach is subtle
Session IPA - Great body for 4% but a surprisingly very earthy hop character that is not explained by the hops they use. Not a fan
Green Tea IPA - Interesting idea but too tannic and astringent from the tea. Didn't really taste like an IPA to me. Not a fan
Double IPA - There was something funky going on with this one that I wasn't sure about. Isovaleric acid maybe? Again, not...
Read moreThe low reviews on this brewery are comical. It's a bunch of Karens expecting this brewery to be some exclusive club. Efff them. I would love to challenge all the one star reviews cause they are lunatics. They can pound sand. And kid friendly? Sure, but who cares. If you bring your kids here cause you want to drink beer, and then complain it's not kid friendly, your priorities are wack. This brewery has never disappointed. Beer has great quality. Most Colorado breweries lack this kind of quality beer... I'm a beer snob but will also drink Coors light. As someone who has traveled the world extensively, this brewery is in my top 10 hands down. Service is awesome. Staff is awesome. Beer is awesome! They have great selection. I cannot speak to their IPAs in depth. I see plenty of people drinking them though. Since I travel the world frequently, lagers are my go-to. This is one of very few American breweries who actually get...
