Picking up my order today and a lady was in front of me asking about her online order. The worker then argued with the lady stating they never received it, upon the woman showing her the order confirmation and everything the worker then says someone came in and took it. You would think they would replace the order or refund her? You’d be wrong, the woman was belittled and essentially told that she couldn’t prove the person that took the order wasn’t affiliated with the customer so she could come back tomorrow and talk with the manager but that was it. The woman had a $75 order, $75!!! That’s a big order to just let someone walk out with it, and to state to the customer “dont get mad at me, I’m just the worker” is absolutely ridiculous, exactly, your the worker, your the one who needs to make sure an order is there for the customer themselves, not some rando off the street. And to top it off there was at least 20 people in line at subway at the time, and the worker was yelling at the customer in front of all of them. Absolutely disgusting and embarrassing for...
Read moreI was just at the Subway store across the street from Safeway in Centralia Washington 98531. I ordered the $5 footlong of the month, The Chicken chipotle and cheese. I didn't want the Cheese or the Chipotle sauce because of my diet. They didn't put the cheese on when they asked what cheese I wanted, but before I could even tell them that I didn't want the sauce they put a huge blast of it on my sandwich, before I could even tell the girl to only put a very light amount of it on my sandwich. I said I didn't want the sauce. She said you have to have it or it isn't $5. I asked What if I was allergic to the sauce? They answered then you shouldn't have ordered it. I may be wrong, but isn't the customer always right? Why is it that I could get my sandwich without the cheese, but not without the sauce? Wouldn't that have saved the company money? I did in fact pay for the sandwich, but now I cannot eat it. I do not believe that this is how you should be treating the people that put money in your companies...
Read moreAs someone who has trained Subway managers myself this location is lacking. From the beginning it has had problems. When you go in you are greeted with lackadaisical help and half-hearted service. You are also faced with an environment that looks as if it has not been cleaned properly in a long time. When I worked here almost 10 years ago they were supposed to get a remodel and never did. It is still the same equipment and the same decorations in store. Pair this with the half-hearted training they give in store in spite of being required to go through Subway's schooling program, the service is utterly disappointing. No one knows how to do anything other than the basics and they mess up even cooking the bread and cookies. They can't even stock things correctly or mop the floor before they go home. I bet the yeast hasn't been cleaned out of the soda tubes since I worked there. I want...
