Extremely disappointed at the dishonest employee who took my order on July 7, 2024/ 5:06pm inside the Chandler Fashion Mall, Arizona location.
I ordered a sweet almond pretzel and a small lemonade, she greeted me with a smile and there was no problems with the interaction while taking my order.
I asked her, âhow long has this pretzel been out?â pointing at the hot display case
She stated â20 minutes?â
Then I proceed to ask her if it was alright to get a fresh one instead. & that I am willing to wait.
she said ok, sheâll get me a fresh one. I was happy that she was nice enough to do that for me so I tipped her 20%.
BOYYYY WAS I UPSET WHEN I SAW HER PUT THE OLD PRETZEL FROM THE HOT DISPLAY CASE IN TO THE BAG, HIDE IT ABOVE THE SHELF SO I COULDNâT SEE IT, WAIT 2 MINUTES BEFORE HANDING ME THE SAME OLD ONE SHE BAGGED UP FROM THE CASE.
The dishonesty of that employee made me really upset.
I donât like to argue so I just gave the pretzel benefit of the doubt, I stood in the front of the register, took a bite from it & it was HARD. I let my son try it too and he didnât like it. So I asked the same dishonest employee if we could just exchange it out for a cinnamon sugar pretzel instead hoping that it might be softer.
The dishonest employee looks at her co worker and her co worker looked annoyed, the coworker grabbed another old regular pretzel from the hot case, âsugaredâ it up and hands it to me.
It did not look like the normal cinnamon sugar pretzel that weâre use to eating. The pretzel was not soft or sweet. It was hard, salty, and not that much cinnamon at all; taste was really off.
Anyways, I threw one of the old pretzels away, gave the âcinnamon sugaredâ one to my husband because that man can eat anything and I hate wasting money in this economy.
& As for that dishonest employee+ coworker: I hope you guys get the chance to read this feedback to please tell your customers next time that you and your staff do not want to make fresh ones for customers whoâre willing to wait so that we can take our business elsewhere.

We waited, gave them about 10 minutes & went back to get our pretzel. They handed us one cup & I told her I was waiting for 2 cups of pretzels. No big deal until the lady "manager" s basically called us a liar and said i only ordered 2 cups. She brought up the receipt and asked how much I spent and I told her I spent 21 plus my 20% tip I left which went up to 26ish with tax. The lady found my receipt and she didn't apologize for calling me basically a liar. She grabs a cup of cinnamon covered pretzels & tosses it into the grease & literally tries to wash the cinnamon off then hands it to me and says it's unsalted. I told her I didn't want a washed off cinnamon pretzel. Lol. She then calls her manager & tells him, "customer wanted a refund" I told her I didn't want a refund & just wanted my pretzel I order 20 minutes ago. Her manager she was speaking with then calls mall security and says he's gonna get me banned from the mall all bc I wanted a receipt stating she refunded my transaction. I told the security that I wanted a printed copy of the receipt stating she refunded the 26 into my account & there she goes and says " I can't give him a refund without my manager" ... This place is horrible. Idk how many other pretzels they just washed off in grease and claimed as fresh... The manager on shift was this lady.... She took a picture of me so I'll post one of her. Zero respect and the manager she called was disrespectful as well, he's the one who called security. The lady also made a comment "you're like 30 years old arguing over a pretzel đ and you're here with teenagers?" Lmao ... The audacity she had, we go to the mall with our family. I didn't know it was illegal to go to the mall with your family to shop. The pretzel was for my nephew who has an allergy to iodized salt... That's why we get one without salt.    Read moreSo when we ordered our food, we had gotten just a cup of the pieces of pretzel bites with pepperoni and we ordered it and we walked away and we each had a piece and it was burnt at the bottom so we went back and we said is there anything That we could do or exchange it? And the girl said theyâre all like that There was two girls there one was a white lady and the other was a small Mexican girl. That was the cashier. We asked just to get our money back and they told us that we had to go and toss the cup ourselves in the mall trashcan because they couldnât do it . and they would not give us a refund back unless we tossed it while talking to her the small cashier girl she took her hair out of her ponytail and re-tied it. I then looked at both the girls, and they both did not have their hair in a bun or a hairnet they were just down in a long ponytail they both had longer hair. They then proceeded to give us a refund because we toss the cup of pepperoni pieces, and I asked what their managerâs name was, and it turned out. The white girl was the manager, and she was the one who told us that It would take eight minutes to remake the pepperoni When they were giving us a refund, the little Mexican girl was just laughing Iâm not sure if it was about us or what she was giggling about. I asked where I could make a complaint and they just said I guess online it was the worst customer service and the worst food snack that Iâve ever eaten. Do not go here...
