Just stopped in to this location today. I have perused the wares of the store on-line and was pleased that they had a brick and mortar store! I was able to see and try on everything that I was looking to buy online. The selection is vast, and in a small space, so I recommend knowing what you're looking for from the website (and if they don't have it in store they will order it for you!). They have high quality Pop Culture Merchandise and I spent a good 2 hours here. When I walked in with a broken arm Ashley H was very sweet and even pulled the display basket so that I could get the deal that they were promoting. She then allowed me to shop at my leisure and was incredibly intuitive as to when I needed help and when I was OK to be left alone. I am very picky about pattern placement and she was so sweet and understanding when I took all of the Ponyo dresses off of the shelf to the check the patterns. She said she was the same! I felt very comfortable spending a lot of time here. Ashley allowed me to "pile" things into my basket at the register so I could continue to shop with my one hand. Upon checkout she encountered issues with the promotion and was so kind and offered me additional discounts to make up for it and this was my first experience here and I have to say I am so excited to be closely located to the only BOXLUNCH in AZ! I personally love BoxLunch. I was super excited when they opened because at the time I was moving from NM to AZ and was hoping they would have a store by my new place. The staff is very nice whenever I walk in there. My husband and I are both 29 and are super picky when it comes to what we spend our money on. We spend a lot of time going back and forth from other stores but when we come here we always find something. I love the atmosphere and what they have to offer.

The 2 reviewers that gave this a negative review seem like they just want to complain. The 1st guy- Was clearly just mad because he wanted to return something and it was past the date, sounds like the manager was trying to see if he could still return it even though it was past the date and he got mad he couldn't. The 2nd guy- It sounds like there was some miscommunication between the store and the people who deal with the orders. Possibly at the warehouse is what I am guessing or somebody who is not at the store, since this was an online order. I don't see how the store actually had poor customer service. He said the first girl he talked to seemed to care and he didn't complain about the second girl. The company refunded him more than what he paid. They obviously were trying to resolve the issues.

I used to work for retail back in the day and there are rules and regulations that a company has to go by, especially people working in retail. So unfortunately the employees have to take the slack for it. Also mistakes do happen. I have no complaints about this place, it is nice. My mother bought me 5 shirts from here but in Utah and I went back without a receipt to Chandler mall. The young lady that helped me was very nice and super willing to help out as much as she could to exchange my tshirts. She looked at all the shirt I had and said "so most of these are gamer shirt" so she then pointed out where I would find shirt like that. I kept looking and didn't find anything after 30 minutes of searching I swear, I tried a few tshirts on that she find for me. I was on a time crunch and put everything back where I found it and proceeded to find her in this very crowded store I was embarrassed to tell her I couldn't find anything because she was super helpful and didn't mind. She went online to purchase the one I wanted and have it sent to their store and the rest was put onto a card for store credit. Another young lady help me get a size small off of a hanging body display I felt bad but that was the only small. Hats off to these girls for helping a needy customer amongst the chaos! Thank you ladies, I will be come back when I have more time! FYI don't be shy to ask for help I would suggest it because there is tones on stuff you really have to dig for. Good...
