FRUTILANDIA — Restaurant in Chandler

I really like Frutilandia. The Chandler location is new and clean. The menu is a work of art and very self-explanatory to help you decide which treat you want to try. There are big colored pictures and descriptions of the ingredients for each item.

I probably couldn't afford to visit here more than once or twice a month, but it a nice option for a family outing. The prices seem high, but most items are made with fresh fruit and delicious ice creams. I am not sure when the last time was that you bought a mango, but they are not cheap. Plus, they slice it nicely and serve it beautifully with fun straws or warm churros.

The staff was friendly. It does take a little while for each order, but they are made fresh when you order them. It is definitely not something that they can make ahead, so plan to order and relax in their huge dining room while you enjoy the company of your family or your date.

They have a drive-thru, but these are big, messy drink/fruit-cups. You might want to just plan on...

Let me start by saying, the service was so terrible we did not get to order. Our kids were so sad because this was a planned trip to test items on this menu. We read the reviews, but still went because the score for the most part seemed okay.

I also understand the struggles of staff shortages; however, its not enogh when the staff you have are not properly trained your service based business.

My family of 5 walked in to an empty restaurant with one server. We stood at the counter for maybe 5 to 7 mins as a young lady stood to the right of the counter and texted and laughed as we waited to order. We asked her is there anyone who will be able to help and she said yes we are open, but continued her text and made NO movement toward the us to take our order.

After seeing the fabulous ads on Instagram, I took my 2 girls to the Chandler location. Unfortunately it was quite disappointing. This location was very clean I will say that. But what I noticed immediately was that the online menu prices did not match what we were actually charged. It was more. My daughter had an oreo shake which she liked but the $12 price was ridiculous for the size. My other daughter got a strawberry cheesecake drink. It came with a scoop of ice cream that was very good. However the rest of the drink fell short. The shaved ice ended up being a large block of ice with a few drips of strawberry flavor. We couldn't put the straw in the ice because it was just a rock.
