Saturday night dinner at Taqueria Factory was a fantastic experience. The restaurant was busy, as the word is clearly out on how great this place is. The first thing you notice is the modern, clean, yet casual environment. Bright, with plenty of seating for parties of all sizes, and large screens around the restaurant with a variety of sports, and The Chive TV. The guy who took my order was incredibly friendly and helpful, making suggestions and helping us to navigate through the menu. The support staff was also very polite and friendly, from the expediter who brought our order to the table, to the busser who cleared our table throughout our meal. I ordered the burrito al pastor, which was absolutely delicious. Flavorful pork with pineapple, beans, cheese, onion and cilantro. I added grilled onions, which put it over the top. My family of 4 also shares a large carne asada quesadilla, 2 chicken tacos, 2 shrimp tacos, chips and salsa, and a birria mulita, which is basically a flat taco, with the meat, cheese and onions grilled in between 2 tortillas. I highly recommend trying one of these. Taqueria Factory has a nice salsa bar with multiple red and green fresh salsas of varying heat, Mexican pickled onions, limes and radishes. The owner was present, talking to the guests, explaining the menu, and I saw him wipe up a spilled drink off the floor. Really nice guy, and we were happy to see his restaurant doing so well. All four of us loved our food, we left very full, and all for a good value, especially given the high quality of the food. taqueria Factory will be a frequent stop for us...
Read moreWell hello my friends… it another Taco review, first off I have to say the marketing for this place is really good, great social media presence and good people talking about it.
Now let’s get to it, I did love the layout agree it’s very bright and plenty of room for a really full house. Side rooms for extra party space and outside seating with a garage type air outside bar option.
Now with all of that being said, you would hope the food would be just as good. Everything was good simple but lack luster in flavors. The chicken was the best seasoned of it all. The carne asada was over cooked and zero flavor, just some meat pellets in a taco. Now we did get here at about 9:20PM and they so close at 10 and they where in that mode so maybe we just ended up with that tail end of the night left over meats??
The taco meant for dipping for me was very good and would order that again.
The nachos hmmm 🤔 well if you love beans then you will love the bean nachos lol there where so many beans in the nachos could not even tell there was el pastor on top. The few pieces we did find where pretty good but we ended up leaving more than half unfinished just because it was all beans.
Now the wife loved her margarita said it was even heavy pour, I guess that explains where mine went as I could not taste a drop in my mango shake, well what it turned into at least but it did have flavor just not that of tequila.
All in all it was on the list to try and we did not sure if we will ever be back through but don’t let our late night review stop you I believe you really can have a...
Read moreMy son is vegetarian and asked for 3 vegetarian quesabarillas with beans, rice, and veggies but no meat. The cashier asked if onions and cilantro were okay. He said yes, thinking the onions and cilantro were garnish. The order came out and his meal was just 3 single tortilla quesadillas with some kind of oil on top and onions and cilantro on the side. He went back to ask about the order and was told they were sorry about the beans and rice. They do not have much in terms of vegetables accept for onions, and they do not have rice. We were charged $5.39 (including tax) extra for 8oz of beans. (My son, who took 2 years of Spanish in high school, thought a quesabirilla was a word combination of cheese (queso) and burrito, but served in a folded over tortilla like a taco because of the picture. It turns out that birilla means marinated meat. That was written at the bottom of the menu.)
The chicken tacos were just under $5 each. The meat was in small chunks, burned, and had been cooked hours earlier. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a cooked meal. The 8oz refried beans were a clump of disgusting beans that offered no relief from the foul tacos. The only good was the beer to wash away the taste. Even the woman that took our order could not project her voice to be heard above the loud music. Overall, an experience I will not repeat or recommend.
The bill was The bill was $39.06 (including tax) with the food, 2 Corona Extra beers, and the beans we went...
