Our FIRST REVIEW was posted on April 25,2024. Unfortunately, I do not know how to add a separate review at this time. Therefore, I am updating our experience to a five star. We were invited back after the poor experience, one star experience we had on April 23, 2024 We went back with a slight fear which dissolved rapidly. The Management was highly exceptional in responding to our initial review posted below and invited us back for a second try. This time we tried the porterhouse, on Tomahawk Tuesday which was cooked to our delight perfectly. The salad were very good this time. I tried the wedge salad and my wife did the strawberry fennel salad we both Were happy. The dressings for each salad were light and flavorful. As I stated, the star of the show was cooked perfectly as well as its seasoning. The managers were very appreciative of our comments and made sure to ask us what we thought of this meal our experience in total yes it deserves to be a Five Star! Now we both, that is my wife and I , understand why people want to go to Fleming restaurant over and over. We will be back, our fears are gone, and that is due not only to the quality of the restaurant but the entire experience from the server to the management. Yes the crème bullee was rich and creamy, the Lava cake for another review. Will enjoy these leftovers. THANK YOU!!!!!!! This restaurant visit occurred on May7 2024.!!!!!!
. (PRIOR EXPERIENCE April23,2024) My wife and I were very excited to try the Tomahawk Tuesday dinner at Flemings. We knew of the history and reported quality of the products. We were overall entirely disappointed by the quality of the most important item on the menu the tomahawk steak. We found it tough , gritty not seasoned at all, and even what was the leftover from it at home remain tough, not tender and thoroughly disappointing. The Caesar salad had none Caesar salad dressing, the bacon bits why it was in a Caesar salad. I don’t understand, but I had no flavor as well. The cheesecake was very light had no depth and did not have any rich creamy cheesecake flavor to it. We we compared it to just two of our steakhouses that we have appreciated one considered a budget type of conscious steakhouse, Texas roadhouse, and a high-end restaurant with multiple meats. Fogo de Chão. Texas roadhouse steak is much tender and much juicier and much more enjoyable as a leftover. Fogo de filet mignon, ribeye beef ribs demonstrate a much more appealing taste to us. In our eyes, this was an eventful evening of not ever wanting to go back to this restaurant. They may be nice the staff at Fleming steakhouse but there is no comparison to a real quality steakhouse which Flemings acts like, but truly does...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of celebrating my parents' anniversary at Flemings Steakhouse, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.
Our server, Carrie, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he provided helpful suggestions that catered to our preferences. Carrie's attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience truly made the evening memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect.
Not only was our server exceptional, but the manager, Kylie, also played a significant role in making our evening exceptional. He was attentive, approachable, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout the night. Kylie's presence added an extra touch of elegance and professionalism to the overall dining experience.
The food at Flemings Steakhouse was second to none. Each dish was prepared to perfection, with the highest quality ingredients and impeccable presentation. Read moreUPDATE: I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars because management reached out and made a strong effort to "make it right." It also seems I did have a "rogue" server. I'll spare the details in this review, but hopefully he was reprimanded. My advice, if you are having a bad experience, talk to management right away because they (at least) are very professional and will take you seriously.
Look elsewhere. Steaks were very overdone—mine was extremely charred on the top because they liquified the bleu cheese topping. When I pointed it out my server just scraped it off (literally, scraped the char like a dad fixing a kid's burnt toast) and returned the steak. Certainly didn't make it less done, though... I could’ve lived with that (as weird as it was), but we ordered dessert and coffee and my coffee mug was noticeably dirty. I asked the waiter if it was in fact dirty, and he told me yes, they “cook the lava cake in them.” See the photo (there was actually more in the bottom if you tipped the cup). I don’t see how the person pouring the coffee could’ve possibly missed that and, in the COVID-era, that’s really bad and disgusting. Diners can’t get away with that and this is allegedly a “nice” steakhouse.
The server offered no apology or comp for the steak or dirty coffee mug. The sides were also not impressive. The menu is about as expensive as any steakhouse ($200 for 2) and this was easily the worst steakhouse I’ve been to based on the "steak scraping" and the dirty mug. Again,...
