One of the more beautiful campuses in the United States. College of Charleston is what first brought me to this beautiful city. I graduated in 1998 and have been fortunate enough to get to stay in Charleston. I love the cistern such a beautiful setting

The annual holiday light show was very nice even though I didn't recognize most of the music and almost missed the show entirely because it doesn't run for very long and there's a wait between shows.

Nice place to stop by especially during holidays when this place is lighted up and the music and light show runs at every 1/2 hr between 5:30 and 9 pm.

The CofC is a beautiful area but not an actual college campus. There are buildings in the middle of a busy downtown area like puzzles pieces that are scattered. So college students are amongst the public interacting. There are tons of places to eat but most college students can't afford the luxury, but its nice to know just in case. The College is a bit pricey and things need to be updated in rooms and better cleaned for the amount of money students have to pay on little scholarship money. I like that they have a shuttle to take kids to classes if they choose. However, I do not like that some students are visiting other students in a few dorms during this pandemic. They must do better before things get...

I was there for a dedication event and their alumni reunion. Picture perfect weather! Classy, historical school. Low country boil food was decent. Most alumni here up in Charleston, go to the College of Charleston, then spend the rest of their lives there. If you're one of many tourists in town, you might want to swing by and look at the school. The town has the flavor of New Orleans, except much cleaner! 😀. They are big into preservation. Many tour options on land and water. Beautiful college, picturesque city- I enjoyed...

Our daughter attends CofC, we visit at least once a month. Since we are fairly familiar with the area parking is easy and we walk most everywhere! The campus has a friendly, historic, easily negtiable vibe. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the students are polite. Today we visited the battery as well as the Old Charleston Jail. We were unable to take the guided tour of the old jail, but hope to do so...
