this was an ASTONISHINGLY good burger like wow

I knew what I was getting into when I saw the toppings, and decided to add a fried egg on top of it, but my goodness the one thing that I think could've been better about this burger were the buns - they were a bit too soft, which made them kind of blend in to the rest of the burger rather than stand out. also they might've been a bit too small to contain the rest of the burger. the only other thing I have is I wish there was a bit more mayo on here

other than that, the inside of this burger was all-time good starting with the patty - this might be the best beef patty I've ever had in a burger It was so incredibly thick, thick enough that it rivals and maybe even surpasses the thickness of a double burger with two separate beef patties. In addition to that, I had the option to pick how I wanted it cooked - where I picked medium - and this was absolutely an incredible decision because this patty was so perfectly juicy without being too soft

A lot of places will automatically cook your burger well-done for food safety reasons, but I'm really glad I was able to customize this to be medium - and this resulted in an unforgettable experience - especially when you think about how incredibly thick this was

the bacon was also so good - it was incredibly crispy - and had deep flavor to it. I was quite impressed that the jalapeno bacon actually managed to have some spice to it. In addition, the pieces were large, and there were 6 of them in total, which meant each bite of the burger was given a beautiful-tasting crisp texture

The fried egg added as a perfect topper to the patty - it was somewhat leaking, but combined so well with the rest of the burger to add just that additional soft egg-like flavor that I love. Giving props to myself on that fantastic addition

even the lettuce and onions were really good in this burger!

if all of this wasn't enough - it also came with a side of tater tots - and a lot of them While I wish these were warmer, and slightly more oily, I did absoutely love the crunch of the breading on these, along with the soft interior these tots were a great break from the traditional default fries that typically come with a burger i do wish they had their own dipping sauce rather than the default kraft mayo in a tube

This meal was especially impressive because it didn't cost that much (about 20 dollars in total) but the portion size was quite massive The burger, and especially the meat, was pretty huge - big enough that I couldn't eat it with just one hand at the start I would have to say the entire meal lands over 2000 calories - which is quite impressive

this meal was so good that even though i was in a pretty suboptimal eating environment (an airport lounge seat with no table) it was still incredible

overall, a near perfect burger, and a pretty fantastic overall...

The long wait and poor quality of service is not worth it, unless you have like 3-4 hours to waste... I had a flight at 2:51pm, lined up outside for a seat at 1:15pm with just 2 people ahead of me…. Well I waited there about 30 min even though I’m looking at a TON of clean open seats on the wall the whole time wondering why nobody had come up to seat anybody in the line, while in that time the line had grown to 10-20 other parties behind me. I finally assert myself and get to sit down at like 1:50pm, and the QR code system doesn’t work and says to ask your waitress for help… Ok fine so I asked the next employee to walk by, (some manager looking dude?), who says my waitress will come around soon and not to worry, to just wait. Ok fine so I wait… Well it got to be 2:15 then 2:20, and still nothing, and everyone sitting around me had nothing either. I would ask the waitresses if I could order and they would just be like “uh huh” and walk by… I finally had to leave, could tell I was just going to be ignored for another 10 mins. They were clearly barely staying afloat, and leading on people who had flights to catch. Whatever waitress I had was absent, avoidant, almost hiding from the newly seated people; nobody was paying any attention to the new people in their section.

I’m really not one to leave bad reviews and I know it was a busy day because of rain delays, but man people got places to be up in here!! They should communicate better about the wait so people don’t waste their time, and fix the QR code ordering system. If that system were working they probably would have been able to keep up with the crowds today. But it shouldn’t matter how busy it got due to delays… this store in the airport should have been well prepared for that type of volume. And like someone else said, the airport price we are already paying is insane, and then to have to put up with this sort of inconvenience and incompetence - even during busy times - is insulting and super lame and honestly inexcusable for an international airport. There’s a systematic failure here and upper management needs to do...

Would not recommend using the takeout window option. Firstly, not a single employee in the restaurant was taking orders at the window. The only option available to order was to scan the QR code that was placed on the surface of the counter, which also was not very obvious or visible unless you happened to walk directly up to it. While waiting for my food, I had to advise at least a dozen other people on how to order because the window area was too crowded for everyone to step up. Secondly, the wait time was upwards of 45 minutes or more for a single burger and fries. In an airport, 45 minutes is way too long to have to wait for takeout. I understand they were busy, but again, not a single emplyee made an effort to inform people of the wait time, or was even really available to answer questions. In one instance, another customer attempted to ask a question of the server that walked up to the register, only to be interrupted with, "Just a minute. I'm busy." And then walked away without ever responding to the person trying to ask a question. While waiting, and with a clear view of the kitchen passing window, I could see nearly 8-10 takeout boxes stacking up. As I continued to wait, two people who ordered well after me were given their food. I had no chance to inquire about my own order, as the person handing out the orders quickly turned away and disappeared for a few more minutes. The server returned to hand out more of the boxes that had been stacked in the passing window. Once I finally received mine (again, after about 45 minutes of waiting), I had noted it was one of the stacks that had been sitting in the window for at least 15-20 minutes or more. By then, the burger was dry, the fries were mushy, and no one offered or gave any direction on where to acquire condiments. All in all, I would say the staff was incredibly negligent of anyone utilizing the takeout window service, and blatently ignored multiple customers. This was highly disappointing, as I have enjoyed Bad Daddy burgers at multiple other locations and was very much looking forward...
