I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piada, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This charming Italian-inspired eatery exceeded all my expectations and left me craving more of their scrumptious offerings.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance. The contemporary yet cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, while the friendly staff members provided exceptional service with their genuine smiles and attentiveness.

Now, let's talk about the food—mouthwatering is an understatement! Piada offers a fantastic array of options that cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're a fan of fresh and vibrant salads, flavorful pasta dishes, or the star of the show, the delectable piadas, there is something to satisfy every craving.

The piadas themselves are a work of culinary art. The warm, thin, and perfectly toasted Italian flatbread wrapped around a variety of fillings creates a harmonious blend of flavors that dance on your taste buds. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the combinations are thoughtfully crafted to provide a burst of deliciousness in every bite.

One of my personal favorites is the Mediterranean Piada—a delightful medley of grilled chicken, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, fresh vegetables, and a zesty tzatziki sauce. The flavors are perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of taste that leaves you wanting more. And let's not forget the tantalizing side dishes, such as the crispy Parmesan fries and the refreshing citrus slaw, which complement the main dishes beautifully.

What truly sets Piada apart is their commitment to quality and customization. The ability to build your own piada or salad allows you to create a meal that caters to your specific preferences. The staff members are incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, making recommendations and guiding you through the process to ensure a truly personalized dining experience.

To top it all off, Piada offers a selection of delightful desserts that are the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The Nutella Piadina is an absolute treat for anyone with a sweet tooth, while the Tiramisu offers a decadent and indulgent finale.

Overall, my experience at Piada was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of flavorful food, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a must-visit for Italian cuisine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. I cannot wait to return and continue my culinary journey at Piada, exploring more of their tantalizing menu and creating new...

The food here isn’t bad at all. It’s a good place to get cheap and quick Italian food without going to an actual restaurant.

The 2 stars is for the customer service. I would put one but I enjoyed the food. Before I arrived at 9pm, I already knew they were closing at 10. When I walked in there were FIVE people in the front cleaning and breaking everything down with 1 person making the food.

I understand it takes awhile to breakdown so I wasn’t mad at them for cleaning up. My issue is when the first guy finished making the customer in front me food, he went to the back and never came back. I stood there for 10 or so minutes watching the FIVE people in the front clean and break the food down. Not one time did anybody greet me or say they will be with me.

After 10+ minutes, one of the people cleaning asked was I ready to order?? Like I haven’t been sitting there waiting for them to finish cleaning with no acknowledgment that I was there. He started making my food with an attitude because the food they already put up they had to take back out. Maybe you guys should close at 9? If the hours say 10 there should be no attitude when I walk in a hour before closing time.

When I go to check out the cashier asked if it was to go or dine in. I said “it’s to go but I’m going to sit for a few minutes before y’all close” Her response “ok because we close at 10”. Unnecessary, especially after you asked which option I prefer and after I told you I’ll be gone before you close. Insane.

The food was good but not good enough to deal with bad service. I won’t be back to...

I am writing to provide exceptional feedback for two of your outstanding employees, Dolisha and Merissa, who recently served me at Piada's restaurant. I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional service they provided during my visit. From the moment I entered the restaurant, Dolisha and Merissa greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel incredibly welcome. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. Merissa demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu and was able to answer all of my questions regarding the different dishes and ingredients. She provided excellent recommendations and helped me make a delicious selection that exceeded my expectations. Dolisha, on the other hand, was incredibly efficient and attentive as I check out. My mother and I left with huge smiles. What truly stood out about Dolisha and Merissa was their genuine care and dedication to providing exceptional customer service. They were both incredibly personable, engaging in friendly conversation and making me and my mom feel like a valued guests. Thank you for employing such wonderful individuals who consistently go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I look forward to visiting Piada's again soon and experiencing the exceptional service provided by Dolisha...

This is "fast casual" customizable "Italian" food. You go down the line pick pasta, salad or a wrap then you can choose from their choices or customize it as you want. Since they opened I've been over a dozen times and it's been awesome every time except once. The one time it wasn't good was when I chose to get the Mac n cheese it was all cream no cheese (at least no cheddar) I couldn't eat it, I had to throw it away, I was super bummed. The lobster bisque is okay a little bit heavy on the tomato part for my taste. The pasta carbonara is my favorite it's got a good balance of all the yumminess you want in a bowl of pasta. Their blackberry hibiscus lemonade is kinda like a pink lemonade but even better. The place is always clean whenever I go no matter how busy they've been. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. I definitely go during their student discount hours because it's worth it hope they extend the deal, otherwise it is a little bit pricey. It's worth downloading the app to get the points and get the offers. But watch out it can be glitchy adding your points/visits I never got my first three visits. Idk why people say it's slow I am yet to have that be an issue. I work from home and I can drive there, wait in line, order and get home in time before my lunch break ends.

Listen… this is one of Charlotte’s best-kept foodie secrets! I’m a college student always on the go, and Piada just earned a spot on my go-to list. Whether you’re running low on energy or crunched for time, this spot delivers fire flavors fast. All you gotta do is place a quick to-go order and boom you’re back on the move, full and focused. 🎯 My Order: • Create Your Own Pasta (Regular size) 🔥 Hot Fried Chicken 🧆 Grass-Fed Meatballs 🍝 Penne pasta with Diavolo (spicy) sauce 🥗 Chopped greens, feta, pancetta 🧀 Parmesan + mozzarella cheese • Plus that soft, buttery Garlic Dough on the side Every bite was on point. The spicy Diavolo sauce had just the right kick, and the meatball/chicken combo hit like a cheat code. The mix of greens and cheese balanced it all out without feeling too heavy. Best part? All of this came in right around $20 solid price for the flavor and portion. 📍 Hidden Gem Alert: Piada is slept on! If you’re in CLT and haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. It’s fresh, fast, flavorful, and filling.
