Read moreThis is my second bad experience so I figured I’d take the time to express why. I usually go into this location 15 minutes before work to grab a bagel and a hot tea. Today I went in and requested my usual (jade citrus) . I paid and Zach confirmed my order and I even added a nice cash tip! Five minutes go by and due to my previous experience with a delay on putting a tea bag in hot water, “I asked is someone making my tea?” I was told yes . Ten minutes go by and I ask where my tea is and everyone looks around puzzled. Turns out jade citrus is no longer on menu but I was not informed of this when paying neither offered an apology by the manager. Needless to say, I was late to work! This location is uptown and people obviously are going there minutes before school/work! It is very important we don’t have customers waiting especially when there is NO line and it’s for a hot tea! Read moreI ordered a mobile order at 3pm on Saturday, May 3rd 2025. My 9 year old son came inside to use the restroom when I picked up. We asked one of the employees for the door code, which he gave right away, and then another woman employee came up and questioned if we purchased anything.
After that, while we waited over 10 minutes for 2 drinks, I listened to the same questioning woman employee complain about being there, claiming she was going to close the store down early because she "had things to do" when the store was open for another hour.
I understand why there is a lock on the restroom door, but requiring a purchase for a child to use the restroom is absurd. Let alone questioning actual paid customers on a slow Saturday afternoon.
I do not, however, understand complaining about being at your job... that loud so customers can hear you. No one is forcing anyone to work there, and the attitude/customer service doesn't fit the starbucks brand whatsoever.
