This place sucks. We drove all the way here from the Pineville Captain D's because they had a sanitation score of 90. Got here and at least it was 95 but we were starving so we decided to stay. We ordered two Alaska Salmon meals with grilled shrimp and after a short wait, we were brought salmon cakes, grilled shrimp, and some random butterfly shrimp (that we didn't order).
When we told the person who brought our food who also happened to be the same person who took our order, he literally tried to convince me that fried salmon cakes were the same thing as grilled fillet of flounder smh. So then he goes back "to check" and someone who I assume was a manager inquired about our order and told us to keep it and he would bring back two pieces of salmon. Fine.
Two seconds later he comes backing talking about "where's your receipt? I need to charge you for the salmon." I said whatever and handed it to him thinking that he was just charging us the difference but no! This nimrod was proceeding to charge us for 4 meals because of their error! Even after he agreed that it's ridiculous he still said he had to charge us.
At that point we were just like forget it. We will keep the salmon cakes bc not only were we hungry after not having eaten all day but we were on a time crunch and didn't have time to wait.
Then a person came by with a dark blue shirt that seemed managerial and when my partner asked if he was the manager, his basic reply was: "in training." WHAT? Like. Seriously? No "yes I am how can I help you? Is everything ok?" Nothing! He then walked off and sat with the person who was the manager and neither of them acknowledged us.
No one expects great customer service in fast food but I do and that's absolutely what I didn't get. I guess they don't teach common sense in...
Read moreDate: Sept 18, 2018 Check # 213 Yesterday I treated a few of my staff members to lunch at this locations and the food was unsatisfactory. There is nothing worst than waiting for your food for 15 mins and to get home/work to eat it and the order is wrong. The fish was cut to the size of kids chicken tenders about an inch and half in thickness. When my staff member brought this to the attention of the server, she was informed that "this is way they are cut today". This is unacceptable. I believe that the establishment should be consistent. The fish should not be thick one day and super thin the next. There was also no butter nor sour cream provided and the food was not a warm as normal. Today, Sept 19, 2018 I called the store manager Bruce Graham to express my concern and he was rude but did express he would replace the order if I brought the food back. From Yesterday? He then told me that I could file my compliant here on this website. I do have the receipt as verification but it is quite disturbing that the Manager told my concern so lightly and recommended that I contact corporate about his store and my experience. As a school supervisor, I personally do not think that this was handle in a friendly way and I hope that he is just a poor representation of the Captain D's brand; and this is not your company's management persona...
Read morePleasantly Surprised. Fresh, not greasy, easy on the wallet, and friendly staff. I ate in their dinning room. Bigger than expected. Nice and clean. A server brought the meal (fish was freshly cooked not dried up from a heat lamp). Salt & pepper style was very yummy. A bigger portion than expected. Fish was crisp but still moist. Rice nicely seasoned. Green beans too. Bits of ham, I think. Tasty regardless. I don't care for hushpuppies so I can't rate them but the person ahead of me in line ordered like ten of them... so they must be good. IDK. The server checked on me. That was appreciated and unexpected. Upon leaving, a cook glanced my way so I gave him a thumbs-up and said the fish was cooked to perfection. Several guys in the kitchen popped up nodding & smiling. They seemed genuinely pleased so we spoke briefly. It was refreshing to see such pride. It's a well run restaurant. That doesn't just 'happen'. There must be excellent management lurking in the background. My hats off to them too. That's it! My...
