Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Charlotte

Awful experience. The worse I have every had at Coldstones. There were 3 young ladies there. The one that was assisting us was just rude. We ordered 2 items the first was just a love it Chocolate Devotion, simple enough. When we told her we wanted an everybody birthday cake remix that is when things took a turn for the worse. For starters she rolled her eyes, then she proceeds to breathe heavy and tell her co-workers ''i really have to make an everybody''. Well of course you do that is your job. As she is making it she is continuing to roll her eyes and slam things down like if we asked her to do something that was out of her job description. I politely say excuse me to add something of course knowing it would be an additional charge she says '' omg yes''. First of all at that point I should have told her forget the whole thing because she was being nasty for no reason. I was not rude , angry, loud, impatient. Just a friendly customer. I let her continue. When she finished making it she sighed again and said ''was that all''. She saw the disgusted look on my face and tried to back track ''I mean I would of course make something else if you needed it'' We were just ready to go now. She still continued with the slick comments all the way up to us paying. Her last comment was ''I'm really strong now that I had to make any everybody'' Again acting like this is an unusual request. I paid AND tipped her because obviously she doesn't enjoy her job. So that was a little pick me up to hopefully make her next guest experience more pleasant than ours. Honestly if she was nicer she would have gotten a better tip but at this point we will NEVER visit this location again. At the end of the day the behavior was just completely unacceptable. I do not know if she is just an associate or a manager but hopefully she is in no place of authority because if she is that way to strangers I could only imagine how she would be with her subordinates. I am a manager myself and if someone on my team behaved that way I would be deeply embarrassed. From looking at most of the recent comments it seems as if this location needs to focus on its staffs attitudes because I am not the only person dealing with unnecessary...

Update** Just left this horrible place again because my friend insisted we go even after my warning. And they were closed! Store hours stated 10pm and they were closed BEFORE 9pm! Horrible horrible horrible

I Just left this location and when I got there there was no line so I was super excited. There was one nice young lady long black hair that was great who greeted us and helped us. I wish I got her name. Now the rest of the employees who were there hiding in the back doing nothing were very unprofessional and not helpful. I didnt want them to help me or be anywhere near my food. You all need to start the hiring process over. TODAY. I had a BOGO in my email that clearly stayed and had an expiration date of 7/28/2019. And the girl who rose from the back was not helpful at all! Even if she couldn't override it she was very rude. The other young lady was trying to get her to do something since it clearly said it was valid. But the elude one just kept mumbling how she wasnt going to help and just stared at me for payment. I started to leave the entire order there. The lady who greeted us saved you all from having to throw away our orders. I dont usually expect much from here because the staff is ALWAYS terrible. But today the rude one ( short afro blond tips) really irritated my soul! Please hire better people. Maybe stop hiring kids. I was going to ask for the manager but there never seems to be one there. Because if it was they should've been doing more to help the other girl out. I'm not ever going back here. Ill just go wait in line at the mall. DONT...

This location appears to be entirely staffed by subdued black teenagers. I had a hair in my ice cream one time. They're generally slow to move people through the line, and I watch in amusement as the employees fumble over and past each other while trying to use the tools and ingredients to assemble your order. Also, they appear to not be fundamentally aware of their top favorites because they also have to look at the board constantly when making something like an "All Lovin No Oven" or "Germanchokalatekake". They should know all of these by heart, heh.

The place is somewhat dirty and they keep two out of the three doors locked closed.. This is really dangerous and stupid.

I have been here several times and the experiences haven't all been bad. Most of the folks there are friendly and do a decent job.

On my last visit I did notice 2 of the ladies not wearing hats or hairnets of any kind. This is a bit gross when you consider they are vigorously working directly over your food to smash it and mix it up.

The franchise owner appears to be an absent one. I have never seen a manager on site in the evenings, either.

I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I haven't had any issues at the Concord Mills...
