Crumbl - Charlotte — Restaurant in Charlotte

Literally the WORST Crumbl ever !!!!!! This store is staffed with rude teenagers who clearly don't care about anything. Not only do they constantly run out of cookies well before closing time and say “they’re out for the day” but then they’re also rude about it. Also, their company policy is to show you the cookie before you leave the store, which they literally never do here, so they gave me a disgusting, lopsided cookie and when I walked back in TWO seconds later asking for a replacement, they said “it’s company policy once the cookie leaves the store, there’s nothing we can do.” 🙄🙄🙄 it wasn’t worth arguing with children over a $5 cookie so I left and didn’t say anything, but then a few days later I was still pissed about the whole ordeal and how those kids handled it so I had to send a message to corporate to get a voucher for another cookie. Just overall a pathetic, childish, petty location and would recommend literally ANY other Crumbl in the area over this one. Also found out their “company policy” actually IS to replace or refund you, which this specific (and only this) location does not abide by. That makes me feel like this franchise owner is just a penny pinching prick. The way they act like “all sales are absolutely final” over cheap, overpriced cookies is...

Went in today and was not greeted by anyone. I don’t know why it’s so hard for those girls to smile and be pleasant. It’s as if they didn’t want to be there. The place was a mess. I would dare say the store was dirty. The counter where the boxes were placed to fill an order was full of frosting and these girls wouldn’t wipe it down to start a new order. Ordered a six pack of cookies one being the Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake Whipped Nutella. Well needless to say that I was given three mini Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake Whipped Nutella because they had run out of the bigger ones. No one said anything just handed the box over to me. I noticed the box was dirty and wasn’t closed correctly. When I opened the box was when I saw the three minis and was then told that they gave me the minis because they were out of the other ones. This is something that should be told to the customer not just handed a box only to get home and be shocked with a replacement which I didn’t want. Anyway, to top this disaster of a visit off, when I got in my car I carried the box on my lap only to realize that my black slacks were covered in frosting because the bottom of the box was dirty from the store counter....

When Crumbl first opened near my house I was trying new cookies every week. Quickly earning rewards to cash out due to my frequency. My 4 count boxes were always perfectly wrapped with an elastic cord and presentation was perfect. The cookies are huge and delicious. The 3 star rating is simply due to the inconsistency with presentation. My orders no longer came wrapped with an elastic cord and my boxes are frequently covered in fingerprint smudges and icing on the box. I believe if they wrapped the boxes with the intent of each box likely being gifted to someone presentation wouldn’t be an issue, even if you don’t pay extra for the sticker or message.

The cookies are delicious and incredibly huge! However I’m interested in more flavors outside of chocolate options. Now I only purchase when there’s a fruit flavor available. I’ve learned to bypass curbside sometimes because they sell out of flavors and if you pay online and do curbside you may not get your order. If you go inside you will have better luck because you will know what’s available and not have to wait for a refund to process.
