A Calm, Creative Café Worth Returning To

I met a friend here for a meeting and was immediately blown away by the decor. The space gives off an instant sense of calm and, for me, it sparked motivation. After the meeting wrapped, I ended up staying until close to get some work done—and it was the perfect atmosphere for it.

Most cafés can be a little noisy or distracting, but Indigo had just the right hum of productivity, balanced with couples and families coming in for coffee and a snack. During my visit, I had a delicious mocha latte, paired with a blueberry muffin that was moist and satisfying.

Since I stayed so long, I decided to try something else from the menu and ordered an iced fruit tea and it completely surprised me. It was the perfect level of sweetness, super refreshing, and included fresh fruit in every sip. Honestly, I’d go back just for that tea.

Indigo Coffee and Tea has officially been added to my list of go-to work spots. It’s a peaceful, creative space that makes it easy to focus while still enjoying the energy of a well-loved café....

My food review is based off of coffee — I didn’t have a pastry during this trip.

I did, however, have the best decaf Cardamom Fig latte (which Reba — the owner— ground for me fresh). The quality of my drink was exceptional and the service was impeccable.

Indigo Coffee & Tea is located inside Alongside Brewing and the vibes are soothing. From the playlist and artwork to the furniture in the space and the lighting, this little coffee spot hidden near the heart of Charlotte is a nice place to meet with friends, work solo, or just hide away.

Love this coffee shop! The owner & staff are very friendly & gave great recommendations. I got the coquito iced latte with oat milk & lovedddd it! I believe it's seasonal but I truly enjoyed every sip of it. The atmosphere is very nice too, very cozy. They have lounging chairs or hightop tables, candles on some of the tables, and music playing in the background. Definitely nice to do some work, or meet up...
