I originally did this review on 06/01/23 Came back on 06/05/23 after seeing that the manager or shift leader female in the red polo shirt intentionally charged my credit card for another Sundae that I did not purchase and then she refunded the card. I inserted the card for a sundae I did not purchase and she processed a refund for that false purchase instead of refunding from the receipt I gave her for $4.98 which had a Ice cream cone for $1.79 and a Sundae for $2.79. Everyone at this location should check there payment methods well. It was purposely done b/c she had the audacity to say to me you want a refund b/c someone told you we didnt have any spoons. Like that was a ridiculos excuse. Please tell me how I was suppose to eat a sundae without a spoon. Below is some of what transpired on Thirsday 06/01/23 at about 4:15 pm The female with the red polo shirt running the place was obscenely rude. It was wrong the way she continued to skip over my order. If you watch the video she served a guy with a ponytail that ordered after I did as a walk in before me. If Im not mistaken he was a walk in like I was. He did not preorder. He actually was called twice to receive his entire order. If I had not asked the cashier about my ice cream cone and sundae I dont think I woud have gotten it. After the rude women barking orders heard me ask about my order she asked for my cone and sundae but still took her time. She did not even try to show any kind of urgency. It was obvious that my order was missed. My Sundae set there melting and she decided to make a ice cream cone for a young man who had come in way after I did before she made my cone. This was intentional because I dared to ask where my order was. I was gven a fork and knife to eat my sundae and when we asked for a spoon for another Sundae my friend ordered we where told there where no more spoons by the young man that was the cashier. He then gave us an odd looking clear spoon that was not wrapped. By that time simply b/c of the rudeness from the lady with the red shirt I asked for a refund and she had the ordasity to question why I asked for a refund and said "b/c of a spoon". I should have said no b/c of your attitude mainly. I would have eaten the sundae with a fork if necessary but was not going to , let this treatment go on any further. She then said they had spoons so it had to be an oversight by the employee but he also as I mentioned gave us a weird looking unwrapped clear spoon spoon so what was the excuse for that. I was not going to waste any more of my time explaining this or taking this risk of getting the young man that was clearly afraid of her in trouble. You should also check out the video at the way she spoke to the employees. Her tone was really rude, harsh and disrespectful. She had this intimidation tactic of turning around with a nasty look on her face as she was forced to interact with the customers. This poor women was visibly afraid to ask for BBQ sauce. This individual was really unprofessional. I have been eating at this location for about 13 years and she is not a good representation of the ownership. We deserved to be treated better than we where. Waiting was not the issue it was however the rude manner we...
Read moreI waited 45 minutes in the drive thru from 2220 to 2310. I did not receive the food I ordered, but had not yet got far enough in line to pay. I was unable to leave the drive thru due due it being single lane. The car at the front of the line would not move until their order was complete. They were outside their car filming or taking selfies while everyone waited behind them. The car behind me would not reverse out because they wanted food and had not received their food. I tried calling in the McDonald’s but no one answered. After several attempts, I was able to get out by driving on the curb of the drive thru because I have a small car. Other cars were still in line stuck when I left. The customers in the other cars were getting visibly angry with the customer in the front of the line. I was concerned the situation might escalate to something physical or where police would be called. I was late returning to work from my lunch break. I left a complaint on the corporate website and received no response. I left a Facebook complaint and bad yelp review. I called the McDonald’s the next day at noon and a worker said this happens all the time and managers do not care. The phones are turned off at night due to prank calls. She said the managers were in a meeting and to call back. I called back at 3 pm and a manager took my name and number for a GM to call me back. I called back on Monday at 3 pm and the same manager answered and said that I could be offered a free drink or hamburger. She just asked what idI wanted my order remade. I said no and that I was supposed to receive a call back and for someone to listen to my complaint. She just said the night manager would try to be better prepped for the shift. Complaints are poorly managed at this McDonalds. They should have had someone close the drive thru and help people get out so they are not waiting in line for an hour or more. Yes, this is just MdDobalds but they wasted my time and then refused to get back in touch with me or adequately acknowledge my complaint. This has been the worst fast food experience I have ever had. I will not return. I eat at McDonald’s almost every day and have never had this happen before. I will go to other McDonald’s even if they are further away. On a side note, this McDonald’s has been consistently messing up my coffee orders. I order iced turtle or mocha coffee but get regular coffee with cream that is unsweetened. The cup has syrup on the inside but the coffee is not sweetened...
Read moreTypically this McDonald's is very good. I also understand that every establishment has off days. I also work in the service industry, so I really do get how frustrating it can be when systems go down and how hard it can be trying to keep organized while stuff is down. That being said... today my service was abysmal. I accept things almost to a fault, but today I just couldn't not say something.
I ordered a frappe and a breakfast chicken sandwich. I typically do just hashbrowns, but I decided on the chicken sandwich while I was ordering on a whim. Once I pulled up to the window, I paid, and when the card was given back to me, I didn't get a receipt because they needed it since the system was down. No biggie, I don't really care about having a receipt anyways. My card gives me a notification every time something is charged to it, so that works in most cases as a receipt... once I got to the second window, they asked what I ordered. I replied a large frappe and a chicken sandwich. The lady (who I don't fault, she was doing the best job she could) closed the window and then came back a bit layer and asked again. I said I couldn't quite remember what the chicken sandwich was actually called, but said it was a number 7 or 9. She left again and the manager came back instead. She rudely said, and I quote, "do you remember what you ordered?"... I repeated it again and apologized for not remembering what exactly it was called. She said "we don't have chicken sandwiches in the morning".... I replied that it was on a muffin or biscuit or something similar, and then she finally realized what I was talking about. But I get it. Sometimes when people are stressed their tones come off a certain way even though they don't mean to be rude.
The manager comes back and says that my card actually didn't go through. I reply that it did, I got the notification for it. She insists that it didn't and that they'll have to charge me again. I reply that the charge was for 5.72, i try showing the manager, and she replies that I paid for the wrong meal. I reply that I'd be happy to pay the difference, but that I wasn't paying for both meals (which is what her solution was at first). Eventually I paid for my actual meal (just the difference), but I never got so much as an apology from the manager. On top of being rude to me, she was rude to the employee as well. She doesn't...
