Unacceptable Conditions and Service at Store #7396
I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service and conditions at McDonald's Store #7396, which I visited today. The experience was far below the standards I expect from a brand like McDonald's, and I believe it warrants immediate attention.
Upon arrival, my family and I were met with a series of issues that indicated a severe lack of operational oversight:
Restroom and Lobby Conditions: The men's restroom had brown paper hand towels instead of toilet paper. Additionally, the lobby trash cans were overflowing, with trash spilling onto the floor. This created an unsanitary and uninviting environment.
Lack of Customer Service: There was no one at the front counter to take orders. I observed multiple customers walk in and leave due to the lack of staff available to assist them. It appeared that customers were being forced to use the self-service kiosks, which led to numerous incorrect orders.
Employee Behavior: When I asked an employee for the store number to file a corporate complaint, he greeted me with an unprofessional and dismissive "what's up." This employee showed a clear lack of understanding of basic customer service.
Food and Beverage Quality: My order, which cost over $30, was served cold. Furthermore, I was given a soda with no ice and was told it was due to a machine issue, with a separate cup of ice provided to add myself. This is unacceptable for a quick-service restaurant.
I brought these issues to the attention of the manager on duty, Jaylen. While some of the issues were addressed afterwardâan employee emptied two trash cans and another went to the bathroomâthe overall experience was a stark reminder of why I have reduced my patronage of McDonald's.
As a former McDonald's employee, I understand the importance of maintaining standards for cleanliness, service, and food quality. The experience at Store #7396 today was unacceptable on all fronts. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take corrective action to ensure these issues are not repeated.
It shouldnât have to take a former employee to come in to help get the restaurant together. Iâve called corporate and I called the restaurant to try and get the district managers information but was told that there was limited information that could be given over the phone by Jaylen.
This visit took 1 hour and I was so pissed I didnât even eat the food...
Read moreI Was just furious. I am a social worker and we had four children who needed to be fed but us as workers needed to eat as well. My supervisor went inside to place two separate orders because business-wise we have to have receipts to be reimbursed for feeding clients. However, when she entered and was ordering via kios along with other customers, they were all asked to exit the building and stated that the dining room was closed and no one could place any orders. So we take the van through the drive-thru and get to the speaker and since that mishap happened in the dining room She asked to place two separate orders again due to the company policy. The Manager stated there could not be any double orders placed, only one order per vehicle. Now. She had gone inside to place The orders and was kicked out which is not company policy for McDonald's because you all are supposed to serve those who actually enter into the establishment and then lock the doors. So no one else can enter. If you have shut down the dining room. The manager came to the van after us only placing one order to give us the food. Since we had to be pulled up. My supervisor explained the ordeal and he said he would rectify it by providing a meal. She asked for the spicy chicken deluxe combo which would have given at least one of the three employees food since we had not eaten since breakfast and it was around 9:00 p.m. while we were waiting for the meal, the food that we receive was incorrect. So once he came out with that meal (which only had sauce, chicken and bread and no drink but did have fries). It was just disheartening. We understood his situation in him explaining that people have walked out and left him with nothing or no resources and nothing stocked. Explained he didn't even have food ready. It doesn't matter at this point, but they still should have honored the customers who were already in the building before kicking them out and telling them to go through the drive-thru and then not honoring the request for two separate meals. Even after we've been kicked out of the dining area. Our job is hard enough with taking care of children who had just left the ER. Life happens but this was truly unacceptable, especially when we had the company van with the big county logo on the...
Read moreI went multiple times before writing this review to give the place a fair shot (fast food places can vary wildly based on who's working at the time you go). However, I have had very few good experiences here over all. The only redeeming quality is the staff's personalities. There are lots of legitimately good people there who are friendly and always have a smile. However, most of the times I went, the service was slow; this includes the drive-through service. The staff seems to stop taking orders for large chunks at a time (as I usually see the drive through line held up at the speakers rather than the service windows) and the line can take upwards of 30 minutes. At that point, I can driven to Steak and Shake and had my meal. Because of that, I have left the drive through line without having my order taken multiple times to do just that. Additionally, this place is very rarely open past 2am despite the location claiming to have 24hr drive-through service. I have had multiple times where I have been told "our system is down and we are not taking orders" late at night, and it happens so often that I legitimately think the owners, staff, or management are lying about it to get out of working late at night. If the location doesn't want to have 24hr service, that's fine, just don't claim that you do have them. Furthermore, the food quality has been a tad spotty. Every so often, I'll end up with cold, stale, and/or mushy fries, or the burger will lack one of its sauces. Usually it's fine, but the slight inconsistency is just icing on top of a mediocre cake. I've been to plenty of much better McDonalds across both the state...
