NC Tavern — Restaurant in Charlotte

First timer experience: Went on a Monday night to watch the MNF game, place was not crowded at all which I LOVED, had plenty of TV's to watch the game at the bar, in the booths, as well as the outside patio. Bonus points for the women's bathroom being clean and smelling amazing!! Vibe and atmosphere was perfect. Now to get to the reason I left 3 stars....our bartender Jasmine was excellent somewhat...when she was at our booth she was very attentive, outgoing and a great server, however, we had to wait quite awhile after ordering drinks and could literally see her and the bartender and others talking while not serving customers...not cool. We had to grab the Asian lady and guy a few times just to get things we ordered and when we wanted to order more drinks, etc..but okay no biggie. The biggest caveat I had was when I got home and seen that I received only HALF a cup of the queso I ordered with my fries and Chicken Philly to-go. Literally the cup was only filled half way, I probably should've checked my food before I left yeah I know blah, blah, blah, but should I HAVE to do that? It bothers me when I don't get what I pay for, and they definitely seemed like they were rushing us out and uninterested in further serving us just by their energy, I'll definitely frequent this spot again, next time I'll just make sure I watch a little more carefully that I'm getting...

I placed an online order because the restaurant's actual website (not a 3rd party site) said that they offer "curbside pickup" which is one of the main reasons I placed my online order. Then I got to the restaurant and called to let them know I had arrived and the guy that answered the food said that I had to come inside because they don't offer curbside pickup. I told him that their website said they did which was why I placed the order and he said no, it's ready but you have to come inside and get it because we don't offer curbside. When I went inside to get my order (because it was already paid for) it was even clearly labeled on my order ticket that I requested curbside pickup and even had my car information there. They received my order, saw this, and never even bothered to call to let me know they didn't offer curbside. This is an issue. Do they think people would click that button if they didn't want curbside? I would not have placed an order if I had known they didn't offer curbside. Needless to say, I will not be placing any more orders with this restaurant. The lie that they offer curbside pickup is very misleading and deceptive. What else is a lie and it makes me leery about the food...

I most definitely enjoyed my visit to NC Tavern. I visit there to watch my team The New York Giants. They have crystal clear TVs surrounding the eating area, including the bar. The speakers were loud and that's how I love to watch my games. I ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken wings and a diet coke. The mozzarella sticks, not so great 😐 but their chicken wings were awesome 😉. I also love the fact that its family friendly, next time I'll bring my boys. I saw a pool table but I didn't see anyone on the table so I'm unsure if they have that area open. The waitress who served me provided great customer service. I've noticed that the other waitresses had that same great personality. I've also noticed a group of people, 3 or more that came in and ordered seafood. So when I make my next visit, I have to see what's all the hype about with their seafood and how it taste. The parking lot is small and I also like the fact that there's an outside eating area. I have to check that out too. The only downfall, I love music. I think the outside area should have some music playing, not necessarily a DJ but a good...
