I recently visited Patel Brothers in the UNCC area of Charlotte and was utterly disappointed with the experience. As a regular customer, I expect a certain level of respect and assistance, but my visit was far from satisfactory.
Upon entering the store, I noticed that regular customers were treated poorly. An older Hindi-speaking employee blatantly ignored customers and was extremely unhelpful. What was even more shocking was that this behavior took place right in front of management, who chose to ignore it rather than address the issue. This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable.
What makes this even more frustrating is the stark contrast with Suvidha, where the customer service is significantly better. At Suvidha, I always feel valued and assisted promptly, which is why I prefer shopping there despite Patel Brothers' convenient location.
The management at Patel Brothers needs to take serious steps to improve their customer service and address the unprofessional behavior of their staff. Until then, I cannot recommend this store to anyone looking for a pleasant shopping experience.
Overall, my visit to Patel Brothers was a regrettable experience, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to make necessary...
Read moreTheir weighing scale is corrupted. I bough few groceries yesterday and billed at the first counter. To my surprise the weights were totally off the charts and when I weighed them with my digital weighing scale at home, Its not even close to half of what they billed me for. I stopped by the next day and the associates at front desk doesn't even pay any attention until they got to see the weight difference with their own eyes (weights are correct in all other registers except the first one) They did give me the credit after collecting their veggies :) but not sure how long ago their weight scale was messed up. Their Manager is not convinced yet and advising their front desk cashiers to keep using that cooked up register for billing!* Don't know whom to blame here but the poor customers are kind...

Just be aware when you buy items made of milk products specially sweets. We had experience once when the sweets we purchased had fungus on it. Luckily we noticed it before opening the plastic seal. When we went to return, it was happily replaced. It would be better if the store could keep an eye on their milk products and save travel time for their customers if possible.
In this time of Covid, they have provided hand gloves before entering the store and this is very good gesture. They possibly also need to keep a control on how many people are allowed to enter inside the store based on their calculated capacity and have directions on the floor like other stores to help maintain...
