Do not go to this bar the bouncers here are aggressive and are being allowed to put their hands on people (even females) with no reason. My sister in law got pushed down the stairs by the bouncers and was sent to the hospital in an ambulance and neck brace with blood pouring down her face. There was no initial fight that caused the aggression. My sister in law and I along with another friend were near the stairs trying to decide if we were going to leave and go home for the night. During our conversation one of the bouncers started yelling at my sister in law and pushed her accusing her of being aggressive. After multiple times of us trying to explain to him we’re all friends were just having a conversation he called for back up. Within seconds we were swarmed by 5 or 6 bouncers being pushed towards the stairs. Me and another bouncer got pinned against the wall and we repeatedly were saying stop there’s stairs someone’s going to fall please stop. The bouncers did not stop they had my sister in law at the top of the stairs with no room to even turn around safety. They pushed her and our friend down the stairs backwards knocking our friend unconscious and breaking his wrist. She had blood pouring down her face and they knocked out her tooth. When I asked one of the bouncers why they did that and what was the reason his response to me was “that’s what she gets” the cops were called not a single one of them tried to talk to my sister in law or our friend. I tried to talk to one of the cops he was incredibly rude and made it very clear they did not care. While standing on the sidewalk watching my sister in law leave in an ambulance I see the bouncer who initiated the confrontation talking with the cop he’s smiling laughing and that cop was also taking pictures with people in front of the bar. I walked under the awning because it was pouring outside and I over hear the bouncer say she was drunk and fell on her own which was a lie I watched the whole thing. They were obviously friends. I didn’t realize that just because you are a bouncer that gives you a right to put your hands on people and push them down stairs. These bouncers are allowed to hurt people with zero consequences. I picked my sister in law up at the hospital with stitches in her face and arm and missing teeth covered in bruises. We are 100% working on pressing charges against this place. My boyfriend’s brother had a drink randomly thrown at him from an unknown individual in the VIP section. The bouncers saw this take place, came over to my boyfriends brother who was soaked from the drink to let him know that they witnessed the individual throw a drink at him, and that they would handle the situation accordingly. Upon going to talk to the individual in VIP, they came back to my boyfriend and his three brothers singing a different tune (possibly bc they were friends with the random person who threw the drink), and immediately escorted my boyfriend and his brothers out of the facility with no explanation as to why they were being escorted out when they were the ones that were wronged..The four brothers never became physically or verbally aggressive towards the bouncers and upon asking why they were being thrown out after only arriving to prohibition 15 mins prior, the bouncer proceeded to throw them to the ground upon coming down the stairwell. While they were on the ground they were punched and kicked in the face and torso while still never having shown any physical aggression towards the 4 bouncers jumping them. The assault continued outside of the establishment on the sidewalk in front of the stairwell entrance, at which point the only brother not being jumped attempted to deescalate the situation. While he tried to get them to stop jumping his brothers, the bouncer who initially said they would deal with the unknown drink-thrower proceeded to sucker punch him in the face, knocking him out cold with his head landing on the asphalt in the street while cars were driving by. The aforementioned bouncer is a light-skinned short black male with light eyes. We would like the names of the individual involved in the assault in exchange for the removal of this negative review and for the bouncers involved to be fired. A bouncers job is to be in control enough to remove someone from the facility when needed, and never to use excessive force via punching or kicking patrons when completely unprovoked. The individual who was knocked unconscious suffered a concussion other medical injuries as well as bodily to his brothers. It seems like it markets itself as a speakeasy and maybe the entrance gives that vibe but once you’re inside it gives more college sports bar vibes. They do not have a menu, was told you can just ask for a drink, and they have “instagram drinks”. Came with friends and each of us got a drink that was pretty simple. One drink was not mixed well and was not really drinkable. They need a menu at the very least. If you are looking for college sports bar type place, this fits the bill, otherwise...
