THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIT LONG WINDED BUT I SUGGEST YOU READ BEFORE COMING HERE !!! Literally left in tears and stuck having to figure out what to do with my hair for my birthday trip which was less than 12 hours from the time I finally left this place. Initially being in contact I was pleased with the enthusiam and willingness to try and accommodate my schedule. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owners daughter instead of herself which I was under the impression would be doing my hair since that’s who I had been in correspondence with the whole time. Even still her daughter was nice and I trusted her with my hair. HUGE MISTAKE. I was charged an extra $50 just because I wanted a sew in that would longer than my already long natural hair and even still was only 2 in. Longer than what what would’ve cost me $50 less which was not made clear prior to arrival and even still did not make a fuss. My hair is highlighted with golden blonde tones and brown with a few streaks on the lighter side and I was told they would be able to match my hair color and blend it well along with avoid lumpy install which was FALSE. The hair used on my head was a mix of black and platinum which I expressed early on I was concerned would not blend but was told several times she knew what she was doing and she was not finished and I could not make that judgement until she did so. I expressed my different concerns throughout the process but each time it was dismissed. I even told her I had been having bad experiences with letting people style my hair as well as a horror story about another cosmetic service I received that day. The hair wasn’t the best quality and also most of it was taken from a huge black garbage bag of matted hair (I know I should’ve ran like I’m telling YOU to!). Either way in the end my hair did not blend well was very thin and extremely lumpy with huge hump at the top and when I expressed I was not satisfied the young lady called her mom who then got irrate and said “so what you wanna do ‘cause it’s after 10 either you pay or I call the police”. No apology for the unsatifaction nor was I offered for my hair to be fixed then or a later date. Even after expressing I wanted no conflict and just wanted hair I was happy with for my birthday I was locked in where I patiently waited for police to arrive. When they finally arrive she gives them “her version” of what happened and even tried to use the story I shared with her as support for her arguing I should pay for the unacceptable work. In the end I was told since I did not get up and leave before she finished since she kept saying “let her finish” before I decide how I feel about it I was obligated to pay even though he could clearly see what I was unhappy with or they would have to arrest me. $200 wasted and all I have is cheap hair and a headache to show for it. Needless to say I took it out immediately upon escaping that nightmare and my birthday weekend is ruined. *Appt was at 2:30 and I called in advance to let her know I would be late. I arrived around 7. Went to an inexperienced lash tech who took twice as long as normal max time for service which is normally 2 hours and still was not finished but mistakenly left early to try and make this hair appt. If you are familiar with the process you know you can not open your eyes and I was not aware of how much time had passed. I was in correspondence as much as possible which I have evidence of. If I have to leave anywhere with an incomplete service or unsatisfactory job especially after expressing my concerns throughout then it should be corrected before payment IF I am still comfortable letting the person touch me again after horrible experience. I always have several pics & videos myself to support my statement about my hair. As mentioned before when I said I wasn’t happy instead of being willing to FIX it they wanted me to go to jail. Money is NEVER an issue for me anyone who provides services for me always finds me pleasant...

I took my son here to have his dreads twisted and the first experience was so good i went in myself for a weave. Allison did a masterful job. I spent $65 to have my son's hair re-twisted and $350 for my hair and sew in. $200 for the hair and $150 labor. We wrier thoroughly satisfied. I have gone back to Allison 3 other occasions for both my son and I and i also recommended her to my sister who also spent $350 with the shop. All the experiences following the first were a disaster. First with my son's hair on the second trip, the job a little better than poor. She had someone else in the shop to do it and it was not the $65 job we had gotten before. She agreed to redo it, if I would just pay a tip. I felt bad about the situation and not "wanting something for nothing" gave her $45 upon completion of his hair. Her thinking I wouldn't pay fairly, combined his twist in a way, I guess to minimize the work, did an even poorer job this time. With both my sister and me, we paid $200 for the best virgin hair, which she did put in mine the first time, but secretly gave us clearly, a lower grade hair the second time. My sister immediately cut her losses and decided not to go back and complain due to just not wanting to deal with her anymore. She also had scalp problems due to the sew in being too tight. I got mine done 6/29/13 for my anniversary and a trip to Gatlinburg, TN and I looked a hot mess for a whole week. The hair was wirery, ugly, the wrong color and texture and was totally revealed when I got in the sun. It destroyed my vacation because I knew my head was a hot mess. $350 and a romantic week in the mountains ruined because of my experience with this shop. I was so upset with her on my vacation that I cried. I vowed to have her redo it and she agreed but my boyfriend told me to have her take it out and we cut our losses. So after exchanging a total of $1,575.00 within 6 weeks it comes down to this, I'm going in today for her to take the weave out and I'm just cutting my losses. Not only does this stylist not appreciate customers and their money, she has the nerve to speak to you as if she has a monopoly on intelligence. I endured this just to maintain civility. This is a terrible salon with a con-artist stylist who even if you pay her top $, she sneaks some cheap hair in on you. ...

LADIES DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Allison (the owner) was recommended to me by someone I knew so I figured I would give it a shot. I had a big day coming up and I wanted everything to be right! So I called to get a price check on what I would be getting done and I told her I would call her back later that day to confirm. Shortly after I called back with a friend who was also wanting her hair done, so we both schedule a appointment with Allison. Furthermore, that day came and I had a 12:30pm appointment. I arrived at the shop to find out that the shop that was listed online was not there! Allison and her crew had pick up and relocated. Puzzled by this discovery I called Allison and to inform her about the situation. While scheduling my appointment she never mentioned that she relocated! As a professional this is something that you would think that a stylist would mentioned to her client. However, that's not it I called Allison and inform her that I had arrived for my appointment to a shop that was not there. Her EXCUSE was "you didn't leave your number when you called to confirm your appointment". Needless to say after calling her from the same phone that same day I asked her did she have my number so she could text me her new address. Her reply was YES and she stated it back to me! Even-though my contact information was forgotten during the phone conversation prior to that day there is this wonderful thing called caller id. When I asked where the new location was she told me that even if I came my appointment would be pushed back because she was too busy! As I asked her several question concerning the inconvenience of my appointment she continued to make more excuses and repeatedly during the conversation push me off on other stylist in the Charlotte area. Allison did offer to take something off of my price but by this time the bridge was already burnt to the point of NO RETURN. Unfortunately this was my worst experience EVER and I do not wish this on anyone else. I took a chance and was sadly let down on my big day. Please carefully reconsider...
