Horrible experience for me and my friend. I was new to the uptown area and it was our first time ever visiting this establishment (lunch). We walked in and were seated at the bartop tables to the left. They were not particularly busy, but we sat there for approximately 15 minutes while the bartender (guy) and waitress served everyone else and never took our order or even looked in our direction after seating us. It became blatently obvious that we were being ignored.
So, I looked up the number to the restaurant in an attempt to speak with a manager, but the bartender answered the phone from behind the bar. I told him that I had been seated inside the restaurant for approximately 15 minutes and no one had acknowledged us. Without me having to tell him where I was seated, he ironically turned to look directly at me, and instead of apologizing, had the audacity to have an attitude with me for calling while I was sitting there inside the restaurant.
He stated, "that isn't cool...I'm not going to serve you now...you need to leave". Guess what? I did, and I've...

Even though it was my first time there, I was welcomed like I was an old friend, as the bartender genuinely seemed happy to have me as a customer, and had no issue offering up a few beer recommendations as I was in the mood to try something different than my normal Stella or Sapporo. Cool, laid back, down home sports bar vibe with multiple games on the tv and no problem turning up the sound.
Wings were nice and meaty and the bartender made a point to check on me consistently to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for an unassuming, low key place to sit at the bar, have a beer and some wings and catch some football. Plus parking is free in the adjacent deck, so it doesn't get any better than that! Go check em out as I will definitely be back...
Read moreThe food here is amazing and will surprise you. I get the southern rancher all the time. The wings are what they’re known for and they’re great with a ton of different sauces to choose from.
Only issue is the atmosphere is VERY loud. This is a straight up, townie sports bar and they are proud of that atmosphere. Lots of local regulars come to this bar because of its atmosphere. The “wait staff” are the really friendly bartenders and always do a great job. When I lived nearby, my fiancé and I would order take out a lot from here.
If you are looking for a sports bar I would recommend going here over other places in South End or Uptown. If you’re lucky, you might run into a Hornets player while...
