I spent about half a day at the Northlake Mall with four younger pals. Four girls, aged seven, seven, nine, and ten. We were hungry as heck! After looking over several restaurants online, we chose to eat at TGI Fridays. The experience could have been much better.. Although a 10 min wait was quoted, it turned out to be closer to 20. We placed an order for 4 slushes..a mango peach, a limeade cherry, and two blue raspberry. Our slushes took 15 minutes. The slushes tasted excellent. We ordered a kids pasta, kids burger, two chicken finger plates, three bowls of Macaroni and Cheese, a side order of fried shrimp, and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich for me. My fries were served burned. Although my Nashville hot chicken was great, I don’t like that they didn’t bring new fries until almost the end of my sandwich. The kids burger was pink in the middle. The nine-year-old eating the kids burger detests pink meat. Having to send her burger back saddened her. It was 15 min before she got a new kids burger well done. The Macaroni and Cheese bowls, kids pasta, and chicken fingers were thoroughly enjoyed;however, they neglected to bring our side of fried shrimp and two dipping sauce for the fingers. The waitress flat out lied, she said I never ordered a side of fried shrimp, even though I know I did, and quarreled with me over the fried shrimp. I overheard a table near us during our meal. A woman at the table near us said, “He’s weird kissing those little girls” because I showed affection to the two seven-year-olds. The woman said I shouldn’t be hanging out with children as a mature guy. The impolite woman at the table near us was talking bad about me. The woman also commented that the nine-year-old’s blonde hair is unattractive because of the green streak in it. How can a grown woman insult a child like that? Her hair looks gorgeous, in my opinion! When I brought up the woman at the table near us with the waitress, she didn’t take any action. “The people around you are free to say whatever they want, this is a free country, sir,” the waitress remarked. Yeah, we live in a free county but they made us feel kind of uneasy/uncomfortable. That waitress needs to learn good customer service.. she ought to have moved us to...

She was apologetic and very kind on the phone. She offered to refund the unauthorized amounts and a $10 coupon. She was able to get everything handled in a few hours, and for her stepping in, i take the 1 star back and give them now 4 stars!
UPDATE: The next day, I looked at my bank statement and saw where the tip had an extra $5 as i left 18%. See receipt below. I called the restaurant and Mike answered. Explained what I found. He asked for my name, the date I came in, and around the time. He fumbled around and said he'd call back. I told him that was fine or the next day if he needed more time. Mike never called. Today is Wednesday, and i checked my balance first thing this morning, and NOW i still see the extra $5 tip, AND now the bill has an additional $10 added. I will be going to the restaurant immediately after work. I will contact corporate. I will go on social media. I will call my bank. I will take my 5 stars back! THIEVES! Look at my receipt vs. my bank statement!
My 7 yr old and I came to eat and watch the game. This was his first time. I ordered ribs/fries, and my son ordered his favorite from ANY restaurant, pasta Alfredo. My food was delicious despite needing a little BBQ sauce. My son ate his mozzarella sticks and took 2 bites of pasta, looked at me, and said, "Mom, I can't eat this! This is NOT alfredo! This is not good!" The manager, Gabby ( i assumed she was the manager, but if not pls promote her). It was super sweet. She quickly suggested that we get him something else and even offered a discount. She took his order, which came out hot and fresh. She was very apologetic and showed genuine empathy. She brought our bill out after reducing the bill drastically and gave us a coupon for a free entree. Even though the issue wasn't grand, Gabby exceeded any expectations in this matter. Definitely shout her out when you visit this location. Our server was a sweetheart, too: Kamorrah. Thanks for attending to our needs by being proactive. After all that, my son said he'd come back bc everyone was nice, and the chicken...
Read moreMy family had came out on Christmas Day. We're going to mentioned this in a series of strikes. Strike 1) The guy who sat us wanted to seat us in a booth, of a family of 5. We asked if we could move to a table so that we could all sit comfortably. Strike 2) the server her name was Lakeya, I don't know how to spell it. She kept forgetting my brother drink order. She kept giving him a sprite when he doesn't drink soda. Strike 3) we had gotten the appetizers with no silverware. We was fine with it at first as it was finger food. Then we got our food and still no silverware. We waited 7 mins to get silverware as she kept disappearing. Strike 4) When we had gotten our food we were missing multiple items. She then wants to say "y'all good?" No, we are not good. I told her what we were missing and she said that the kitchen was going through something and she has to yell at them for them to give us our food. Which when she left our table oh boy did we hear her yell. Strike 4) I don't know what was going on that night but there were playing all type of music. Some with the curse words in them. Which is crazy considering it is a family restaurant. Our server said it was Bingo night. She had mentioned that the regulars would bring their our food in and take business away from them which is true and that she doesn't know what her manager allows or don't allow. Strike 5) then when we are ready for the bill and our server goes missing. My husband asked for the manager to find her or for the manager to give us the bill. Turns out our server was outside talking with friends, her uniform is off and she is ready to go. Yeah we were too for ten mins. While Im Paying for the meal she goes and say "you could leave me no tip don't worry about you could leave me no tip." Ma'am stop. I left her a $10 tip because I am a server and I know how rough it might be for a server to work on Christmas. What she didn't know is that I had a $100 bill in my pocket for whoever had served us and provide us with GREAT service, sadly she did not. The worst part about it is that we were her ONLY table. Horrible service and we were her only table?...
