Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chattanooga

Went for lunch. Have been here a couple times and has been 50/50 on quality/quantity etc. which caused me to try other places that offered the same style food. I get the bare minimum-very little rice, a meat(usually steak), bell peppers & onions, lettuce and cheese. Paying $8 for a bowl that's half full is part of it bc that's all I like. I understand that. Today's visit was actually tasty. I got chicken instead of steak and I liked it better! They had plenty of each item and in the past, that has been an issue. They would either be out of one or the other and was always low on the bell peppers/onions or completely out. I was happy to see that I would be able to get my bowl with all of the few items I do get. Food was fresh and was so good! Service was friendly. Restaurant clean. Will go back...

Northgate Mall location - First couple times I went it was great! Prices are a little high but usually worth it because of quality. Went one day last week at 1:30p and they had a sign on the door that said closed until 2p due to staffing shortages. This time (5/11/22), the quality of the steak was terrible, gristle, not as seasoned/tasty as usual, meat wasn't hot, lettuce was NOT fresh, it had rusty edges,black beans were not hot, mgr made a mess on the floor with black beans and left it... Not only is that dirty and disgusting, it's a safety hazard. Cushions on seats had tears and are in need of replacement...Place was about half full...

My wife and I had lunch yesterday. While we were eating there were 5 kids sitting at various tables up near the front door. While were there they were yelling and screaming at each other while switching tables. The adults who were with them were sitting near us near the back were also very loud when they were talking and laughing really loud. The adults and the kids were not eating they were just having drinks and talking. All the while the employees just went about their business and did nothing. My wife and I had to leave along with other people because of the noise. I don't think we will be back. The food was...
