Unexpected experience; be aware of this rude assistant manager, she was insolent, w/ poor customer service:
On 07/08 between 4:45 - 5pm, I SAW her thumb & a few fingers to hold the food container, and the assistant manager touched accidentally the surface of my honey sesame chicken while serving in the container; the assistant manager might not be aware of this; however, I SAW it ( you’ll see alll these through your surveillance, foot step camera), so when I complained this, the assistant manager yelled at me, cussed, and she was rolling her eyes, it was form of the aggressive behavior & communication toward customer, so this can be hurtful, her eye-rolling at customer; I thought her tone of voice prob. In addition, she yelled loudly, "Did you pay for it? I understood why she asked. But Instead of yelling at me if I were her, without hurtful words & actions, as an assistant manager I would say “sorry,” she could analyze it, and solve the prob quickly for her mistakes.
Due to her agitation, she could not analyze this & understand it at the time. Other Panda Expresss crew members have been careful, they did not touch the surface of my food while they're serving in the container in CA, OR, WA, HI, and other states during work trips. I had no idea about Chinese food, but I liked Panda E, and also I believe that Chinese people & others also do expect to eat clean food with no contamination, not touched by someone. Hoping the assistant manager can comprehend using bare hands can pose a risk of contamination & she's representing her workplace as an assistant manager.
As we all know, the Panda E should wear GLOVES instead of bare hands, and also should not touch ready-to-eat food with their bare hands, and using their thumb or any other finger to touch food in a container while handling food. This helps others to prevent the transferr of viruses and bacteria from the hands to foodd. As an assistant manager, she will need to know these: proper hand hygiene, food safety, and all food handlers may adhere to some guidelines to prevent the spread of pathogens.
Moreover, the assistant manager, she continued rolling her eyes at me with no basic manners & looked me down ... like a dog when I was at the outside of their park lot before she started driving her car. This can be considered the form of passive-aggressive behaviors, she may have her previous traumatic work history, this affects her work performance … I had never this rude experience so far before. Due to this rudeness, I thought she had an inability to acquire this important food safety and her job description as an...
Read moreI've ordered from here a few times, normally the food is good but sometimes you get something disgusting. I tried the tofu and eggplant and it was horrible, the eggplant was sour and hard and inedible, had skin on it that I couldn't chew and it was very bitter. Only one slice of UNCOOKED tofu. Was very thick, not very good. Today I ordered orange chicken kung pao, kung pao has zero veggies. No zucchini or anything else besides chicken and peanuts and an INSANE AMOUNT OF INEDIBLE PEPPERS. I order the kung pao often, it's usually filled with veggies and maybe two or three of the hot inedible pepper shells. Look at how many of these peppers are in my food, and lack of other ingredients that kung pao usually has. Idk, whoever made this should feel bad about themselves genuinely. Being untrained or whatever else isn't an excuse, come on, food is expensive nowadays and it sucks getting an inferior product. Would like them to do better because when panda is done right it's delicious, and I've had lots of good takeout meals from this location besides these two instances which are very bothersome. Update: could not eat the meal at all, it was so spicy that it actually hurt my mouth and I ask for 10 when the waiters at Asian places ask for the spice level I want. Actually...
Read moreGenerally the service I have received has always been positive. This time it wasn’t. This girl with heavy make up and dark hair in the drive thru never greeted me and I smiled and said hello she looked at me with such distain, it was insane! I thought maybe it was just me, but as she gave me my order I smiled and thanked her and she had this horrible look on her face like I was some horrible disgusting person. She didn’t say ANYTHING. When she gave me my drink and I didn’t drive away I looked at my receipt because I never got my 2 year olds drink and apple crisps. She gave me an apple juice and didn’t say anything again. She didn’t apologize for her error and was annoyed that I was there to begin with. Please retrain her or put her in the kitchen she does not belong in a customer facing role. I have never been treated this horribly except by people who hate happy people and themselves. I am smile even when I don’t want to because I want others to feel good and not bad. I will adjust this review if and when my next visit shows she has been disciplined. Other than that, they’re usually super nice here —that’s why I was debating posting my experience. Thank you if you read this far...
