Here I go again, starting with grace. We should have known when we walked up and no one was in the restaurant at 7pm. We heard about these amazing pretzels 🥨 and they did live up to the hype. The other positive were the BBQ sauces. They had their house version and a sriracha version that I really liked. A tomato forward, rich, bold sauce with great body. Unfortunately the meat it was meant for grossly underperformed it’s counterpart. For a place that claims to be a BBQ joint, I can only say that I’m confused. Before walking in the waiter mentioned liking the Cubano sandwich (2.5 out of 5 stars) and the brisket tacos (0 out of 5). The menu touts a rubbed and smoked in house brisket. It was dry and flavorless. No smoke, no smoke ring (looked like it was reheated from yesterday) and whatever rub they used didn’t impart any flavor worth commenting about. I had half of one taco and gave the other two away to my friend with no taste buds. I haven’t been to Chelan in a long time. If I came back here it would be for the pretzel and sauce to go. I get the feeling that they don’t have to work very hard to get enough traffic to make it work thus pump out super mediocre food. Our servers were nice though. My only recommendation would be to check in for honest feedback on the experience. Money is too hard to earn nowadays and there are too many other options to buy food. Give people a reason to come back.

First time visiting Stormy Mountain Brewing. We were a group of four adults and two kids. Showed up for lunch at 1:30 on a Saturday. They had a table, but were very busy. We were fine with that. We ordered our drinks and they were brought fairly quickly. However, they did run out of one of their featured ciders just before we tried to order. We did wait a bit to order our food. And then again to get our food. They did warn us they were behind. We never got a refill on our waters, nor another ask for further drinks. The interactions with employees were good and they were polite, they just seemed a bit overwhelmed. Once our order arrived, the food was plated well and was of good portion size. Our group ordered a brisket nachos, a chili and cornbread, the "famous" fish tacos, a Mac & cheese without toppings and a kid's mini corn dogs and fries. The food all tasted good. The chili was served a bit cool, but the flavor was excellent, as was the cornbread that was served with honey butter. The atmosphere for the restaurant was nice and inviting. Overall, they earned four stars.

We have visited this newer brewery restaurant 3 times now and I really want it to be great, but it just isn't. It is ok, but nothing I crave while I am away. The beers are good, but not spectacular. We have only eaten once, mostly because the menu is small and not that varied or appealing in options. The one standout is the Chicken buffalo mac n cheese - very good! This is a place we will likely continue to visit because of the location in a tourist town we visit frequently, so I hope to one day post a new review with a much better opinion!

Tonight we came in with a party of 7 and were sat immediately, the place wasn’t busy at all, maybe 3-4 tables with 2-4 people each. We ordered drinks and received those fairly quickly. We ordered food and then we waited. We ordered 3 appetizers at the same time we ordered dinner (one was the dinner for a toddler in our group) and we received one (fried potstickers) of them after about 20 minutes. In total we waited over an hour and a quarter before we received the rest of our food, the remaining 2 appetizers came with the food. While we waited 2 tables of 3 each were sat, served, and cashed out before our food came. A 3rd couple sat outside, after getting their drinks their waitress went out to talk to them and I assume they were told it would be a very long wait because they paid for their drinks and then left. While almost all of our food tasted good none of it was hot. The pulled pork sandwiches (3of us ordered it) sat so long the top bun was crusty from the warmer and the bottom bun was soggy and falling apart. The queso for the pretzel had started to congeal and had a crust over the top from sitting. The chicken verde tacos were a real let down, they were dry as can be with no sign of salsa verde anywhere. While the food tasted good the fact it was lukewarm at best was a disappointment. Our server was nice and attentive in the beginning but when he realized how long the wait had been he started to stay away from the table and at one point he either ignored one of us waving him over or just didn’t want to come over. I know the wait wasn’t his fault. For a town who has only sit down restaurants and is a very large tourist town for the 4th of July/summer you’d think they would have staffed the kitchen...

This is my third time into stormy mountain brewery.

This last time was ridiculous... My family and I come in and it's band night, the place is packed and we try to find a seat while also looking around. We sit a little behind the bar because that was the only place we can sit... We get our water and start waiting around to order, about 10 minutes, no one came, so we eventually got a little irritated, so I walked up to the bar and said "we've been waiting over here and no one has asked for our order."

The bartender has a snark response back, saying I know it's really hard to pay attention to the two signs that are posted and that's there's a lot going on, so maybe I need to pay attention next time. I've been to this place and they've taken my order a tablet both times... So I stood there aghast and eventually went back to my table and took my family to another restaurant. The owner of the place was amazingly courteous outside asking who said what and that he was really sorry, but it left a really bad taste in my mouth.

My family comes to Chelan about once or twice a month... I've been here three times, the first time I went I didn't enjoy the food too much, but the second time my wife and I went in during winterfest and loved the place, the beer was great and so was the sausage appetizer and beer bread. So I wanted to bring my parents and my brothers family to check it out again, but after this time... I'll only go in there if I...
