Took my sister's gold summer pass to take her children, and was told it was expired the day before when I got there. Her pass was good until August. They made me pay a lot of money for a hour of playtime when her pass was not expired. She just needed to send me a new code which they should have known. I never had a summer pass before so I had no idea, and it's very difficult to wait with impatient kids. They are very understaffed. Only two young people for everything in the facility, and they seemed stressed out. The fact they didn't consistently have someone at the door shows that kids could get taken at anytime. We left and no one checked us out so the stamps are completely pointless. I liked that chuck-e cheese was a place that made sure you left with your own kids. This place didn't protect anyone from predators. I did not like that crying kids kept coming up to me with parents being neglectful. I felt so bad for the children, and they were only babies. Kept crying and looking at me to put them on rides. One baby was crying because they were lost. It just felt like the place was very chaotic. I went far out of my way to go to this location in NJ, because the one closer in Philly is bad. This one is not that good. Chuck e cheese is going downhill compared to what it used to be. There's not many open anymore. They charge way too much money for food. I couldn't feed the kids there yesterday, because they told me her food coupon pass was expired too which was false. We had fun and made the most of our time, but I know it should have been better. They need to do something, because if they don't the company will not last. I'm glad we didn't use the bathroom, because it wasn't very clean either in there. I don't think we will come back. Not sure where to go for a location, because like I said there's not many around. I feel sorry for kids today. Nothing is nice like it used to be, and everything is...
Read moreIf it were possible to give no stars I would. Went there last night for my daughter’s 4th birthday. They were incredibly short staffed…only 3 people in the entire building working. If that’s the case, let customers know or don’t open! When we waited for our food it was sitting in the window for a while and was cold because the pager didn’t vibrate like it was supposed to.
Then we wanted to buy a game card and couldn’t see the kiosks to buy a card on your own because of the mad house of people trying to get free ice cream when the mouse came out. Again nobody was there to keep any kind of order. I asked someone in the kitchen for some help at the front register, the kid told me she was working the floor and the kitchen she can’t help me. I asked the kid who was operating the front register who was dishing out the ice cream if there was someone who could help at the register, she told me nobody can help me.
The games didn’t give out any tickets like they were supposed to. Why have prizes for an allotted amount of tickets if the games don’t spit out tickets like they’re supposed to?
When I pay $55 for pizza and a sampler it would be nice to get more than 3 little boneless bites, if all 25 french fries I got were actually cooked and if the marinara sauce for the cheesy bread didn’t have ice chunks in it and it was actually a freshly made pizza like the website says.
Needless to say I’ll never bring my kids back to this facility. It should actually be closed down. Wish I get my money back to give my little girl the birthday...

Good - The manager whom was handling the prizes and snack bar was tremendously friendly and professional. Only reason for two stars.
Bad - we waited there a little longer than my year and a half year old wanted to stay for Chuck e to come out on the half hour because she wanted to see him. Not sure whom was in this costume but what an experience. This person had zero capability of entertaining children. Even getting a hi-5 was a struggle. We typically visit Lehigh Valley PA chuck-e and the mouse grabs a handful of tickets, dances with the kids then tosses them on the ground. This mouse didn’t dance. Just tossed the tickets on the ground. Ever since yesterday afternoon my daughter keeps asking me why the mouse wouldn’t dance with her. My wife told her the mouse had to go to the bathroom and leave. So now my daughter keeps saying “mouse potty - no dance” UNBELIEVABLE.
Then we go to leave and there’s a bin of lolly pops. My daughter goes to grab one while on my wife’s shoulders. My wife says it’s okay to grab one. The worker tells my year and a half year old “not for free, deposit card only”. Are you serious? We dropped $20 on 45 mins of lackluster games and prizes and my daughter is told she cannot have a 2 cent dumdum? Zero customer service ability.
Can someone from corporate office...
