Me Being Nitpicky as I don't want to call them Cons-so I won't:: - Appitizers should come before the main course, not WITH the main course...that is why they are called Appitizers. Also When coming in the middle of a meal to ask how things are, waiters should already have a pitcher of water with them. But these are not worth taking off a star for, so I still give 5 stars for enthusiasm and service overall. On a personal note- the background music - I LOATHE Euro-Techno music, but the manager said that is what the owner wants, so not their fault. I was hoping for actual Asian music in an Asian restaraunt. I was in Japan, and they play nice Japanese music...quiet and condusive to a relaxed atmosphere. But...as I said...nitpicky Pros: Service was enthusiastic and overall lmpeccable. Manager greeted everyone and obviously is out to create a wonderful dining experience. The Decor was simple but elegant. My wife was particularly taken with the lighting nets. Everyone in the staff was obviously chosen for their customer service skills. The menu literally had something for every taste and cooks were rediculously accomodating. The Food was beyond expectation. Noodles tasted fresh and were made in the restaurant. The Sushi was well enjoyed by us both. For the First Time I enjoyed a Pad Thai bowl (spicy tofu) and my wife's Bento Box when she was done, (salmon) looked quite cleaned up. I never saw her clean up a Box so well. She also eyed my Pad Thai and enjoyed some very much, (as I did with some of her Box contents)The salmon was very soft with a crunchy surface. In short...the food was spectacular. My only regret was we could not order dessert as we enjoyed lunch a bit much. We are also not drinkers so cannot comment on the bar, but the patrons looked like they were enjoying their drinks, so there we are. Conclusion: A fantastic dining experience, and I believe and sincerely hope the place will do very well. ...
Read moreReally enjoyed! We dined in around 6:15pm on a Friday and were seated promptly by the host who was very nice and accommodating. Our server, the GM, and the bartender were all very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. I think they were down to 1 server because it did take a little long at one point but we got to chat with the GM since he was around and connecting with guests. Onto the food! We got a round of espresso martinis which are my favorite cocktails but unfortunately there was way too much baileys this time, this is really my only note and I think they could definitely tweak this by asking how much the guest likes baileys since it’s an easy fix! We then got calamari, miso soup, yellowtail nigiri, and one other fish that I can’t remember lol. These were all amazing and my boyfriend said this was some of the best nigiri he’s had in a while! The calamari is crispy but without too much breading and the miso soup was a great size with great flavor. For entrees, I had the chili garlic tofu dish and my love had the steak stone pot bibimbap. This was one of the best entrees I’ve ever had and I usually make a lot of modifications to my dish since I’m picky… but I wanted to get the full kooma experience. It was phenomenal! Not too spicy but spicy enough to really get the Asian experience. The steak stone pot was very cool and he had a great time cooking the steak on the sides of the bowl and mixing the rice to his desired crispness. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back to try...

I ate such fresh, delicate, and melt in your mouth food. The hand cut sashimi and expertly rolled sushi were presented in an aesthetically pleasing way, and I was truly impressed with this presentation. Sushi lovers, brace yourselves for this wow factor!
Besides the sushi, you also need to try the soy garlic Korean fried wings. These were crispy, crunchy, and had a deliciously tangy flavor.
The stone pot bibimbap is a hot rice dish that finishes cooking in front of you and is also a fabulous presentation! Enjoy listening to the sizzle of the rice and egg cooking on the burning hot stone. The seafood combo was plentiful of various bits of delicious seafood, so seafood lovers, this is for you!
Our waiter recommended the pork belly, which was tender, mouthwatering and melted in my mouth!
If you appreciate a nice kick to your food, the chili garlic noodles were on fire! The perfect combo of delicious comfort food but with some added spice.
We capped off the night off with a decident slice of flourless chocolate cake, and a tasty espresso martini.
Kooma has an amazing happy hour, frequent live music, networking events, and it’s a beautiful restaurant with an excellent staff. That’s why it’s so perfect for your next date...
