I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED 😔 to have to share a bad 🥺 food quality experience with you because 99% of my Google Maps posts are usually about EXCELLENT 🤩 quality, hot and delicious foods whether I dine-in or do To Go.
Unfortunately, tonight’s To Go dinner from Red Lobster was HORRIBLE!😱
I order from the bar and the bartender was great, friendly, very attentive with great service. NOPE, I didn’t have cocktail because I don’t drink but did give him a nice tip!🤗🤗🤫
My order was done in about 15- mins and I only live about 8-10 mins away so thought 😳 I would have a great seafood dinner tonight but NOT!😔
As soon as I walked in the house, I washed my hands, poured a glass of ice tea and excitedly sat down to eat my meal. I ordered Fried Fish and Fried Shrimp. I bit into the shrimp and it was slightly warm, I said to my husband “this is odd my food is NOT piping hot 😳, I ordered in-person and came straight home 🤔so this should not be!”. I ate the shrimp first before they got any colder and then tried to start with the fish but the fork wouldn’t cut through it and it was cold😳. I thought this Fried White fish is supposed to be hot, white, fluff in texture and fried to perfection but it was NOT!🤨 So I tried to pinch a piece of fish off but it would break but all the breading fell off! Still in disbelief that I got this meal from Red Lobster.🤔🤔
The fish was not breaking no matter what I did so I started bending it and it bounced back like a rubber band. NOPE definitely could NOT eat it nor did I want to at this point. The baked potato was not hot. I’m wondering if I got the meal that someone was supposed to pick-up a couple weeks ago?😳😱 So I thought let me try the coleslaw but that didn’t work either because it smells a bit sour unless it normally smells like that.🥴
I’m just too tired to go take the meal back and I wouldn’t want another one in its place.
I’m just totally mind boggled about thus meal because this is the first time this has ever happened to me at a Red Lobster and I do have posts of other Red Lobsters with excellent food experiences.
NOPE never expected this especially on a Wednesday early dinner night. I started to get Chinese at least it would have been prepared for especially me and piping hot.
I’m not saying that I won’t ever go to this Red Lobster or another one but I probably won’t order this meal again anytime soon.🤢😔 You just never know who will get the meal...
Read moreMy husband and I dined at this location last Sunday. I have to say we were disappointed with the food. Over the years this was our favorite location to dine at. But, this past sunday it didn't live up to our expectations. To start, we ordered the triple berry sangria and a diet coke/pepsi. The diet soda tasted like old lemon diet pepsi or coke. It was obvious that lemon was squeezed inside the soda which is not what we wanted. I asked for another one without lemon and it still taste like someone squeezed lemon inside my soda. The triple sangria was not sweet at all. It just didn't taste good. We was at another red lobster in northern nj and their sangria was sweet and delicious. I asked the waitress if she can ask the bartender to make it sweet and it came back to me worse than the first glass they gave me. It taste watered down and very bitter. For appetizers we ordered the chili shrimp and it was barely covered with the sauce. The other location was fully covered with sauce. We had to ask for sauce on the side to dip the shrimp in. We also had the petite shrimp and lobster roll, which was pretty good and the shrimp and lobster dip, was ok; hardly no shrimp and lobster meat in it. Our entrees i had the pick two and my husband had pick 3. I chose fried shrimp and fried fish. My fish was cooked too hard and it was very thin and fried shrimp was ok, just needed a little seasoning. My husband had alfredo, shrimp scampi and fried fish. He thought his food was ok. He threw the rest out when we got home. I didn't even pack the rest of mine. I would have to say, their biscuits is one of the best we've tasted out of several locations we been to. My husband and I did ordered more drinks. Hubby ordered the pina colada and I had the berry mango daiquiri I believe and both of our drinks didn't have the alcohol in it. I don't know what happened sunday afternoon, but it wasn't a good experience at all. This location is usually better than that. Will we go back, we...
Read moreFor 15 years we've dined at this Red Lobster occasionally, and my beautiful Carol was a part time server there when we first coupled up, so this review is not without serious reflection. We are retired and occasionally entertain family, friends, and acquaintances and not too long ago we had a similar adverse experience at this location. TODAY, we arrived at 11:20am. We didn't get our check until 1:30p. The restaurant was empty when we entered. As we were provided sub-par service several others came, they drank, they dined, and were provided their bill within an hour or so. The bar had an extraordinary delay as they claim the Blue Moon keg needed to be changed, but that took forever, although we received 2 of 3 Blue Moons after some unwarranted delay. Our server (Jasmine, aka Jazz) was very sweet, polite, and offered excuses. The manager (Angel, a male), a very polite and professional manager, offered excuses and claimed they were inordinately "slammed" with patrons. "Slammed" = 8 tables? Bullshit, there were 8 tables at any given time, and there were 1 server eventually aided by another, both were visibly working the floor. The food was marginally good, and even with Bidenflation, the prices were understandably high by my experiences at other restaurants. Had it not been for Jasmine's sweet disposition and Angel's intervention with a small discount and apolgies, I would have washed my hands of Red Lobster. The bottom line, Red Lobster is a bit too stingy with staff, and their food was not worth the price posted on their menu. Just like one time before recently, I have reason - once again - to pause going to THIS Red Lobster because I can get better service and more "bang for my buck" elsewhere. If you must dine at this Red Lobster, expect sub par service and not value...
