I put in a mobile order and came trough drive through when I tell them what my mobile number is they disappear we wait for quite a few minutes they come back and ask to take my order..again I tell them mobile order and number..wait another 5-6 minutes and they come back on again saying I'm sorry you had a mobile order? And for the third time I say yes and give them number then lady left mic on and is yelling to someone else that she's having issues then mic shuts off and we sit for another 10 minutes or so with no response while 2 cars pull off and leave behind us so we finally just pulled up to window instead of waiting for response..we get to window and they said are you the mobile order? I say yes and she walks away and we sit there at drive through watching them walk around trying to figure something out while lady up front is constantly on phone then I realize she is texting the manager or something when she says something to people in back and then they call and that lady proceeds to get on phone complaing and cussing while we can plainly hear her and at this point been sitting there so long it's almost funny how sad it is but what go to me the most is the fact no one was talking to us addressing the situation, saying I'm sorry we are having technical issues, etc nothing and I'm a patient person so I would understand but I got irritated my the unprofessionalism and then after waiting forever at least 25 minutes for food we finally got it and she just hands it to me not even saying anything about the situation and so I addressed it and told her they should at least let the customer know instead of ignoring people while there is issues and while we were waiting at window another car had pulled off so lost 3 sales and would have been mine tok if I hadn't already paid for it and when i went to eat food it was cold and soggy. Read moreI am compelled to bring a grave issue to your immediate attention, concerning an incident at the McDonald’s location at 673 Battlefield Blvd, on March 5, 2024. My nephew, a dedicated and reliable employee who seldom missed a day of work, was assaulted by individuals on the premises, including another employee and their acquaintances from Norfolk, Virginia.
What is profoundly alarming and unacceptable is the response from the restaurant’s owner. Instead of offering the necessary support and assistance, the owner chose to place the blame on my nephew, the victim of this unwarranted assault. This reaction not only questions the safety measures in place at this specific location but also highlights a distressing lack of empathy and action from the management towards incidents that severely compromise both employee and customer safety.
Such disregard is not only disheartening but also contradictory to the values and standards that are expected to be upheld by the McDonald’s brand. It paints a concerning picture of how young black men are treated, showcasing a scenario where their well-being and service loyalty are overlooked in the face of adversity. This treatment sends a clear and troubling message to our community, indicating that the safety and respect afforded to black and brown employees and patrons are conditional and insufficient.
In light of this, I must advise members of the black and brown community to reconsider patronizing this McDonald’s location. It is imperative that our communities support businesses that ensure the safety, respect, and dignity of all customers and employees, regardless of...
Read moreThis mcDonald was by far the most disgusting place I had been. My husband went to the bathroom and he said that the toilets look like the have not been cleaned in months and it smelled horrible. When asking for our order couldn't help by noticing him ow dirty and disorganized was the area where they keep foods and serving items. There was cups, and napkins on the floor. There was no ice on any of the ice machine on the self service area. The soft drinks are was dirty and the floor was sticky. There was several employees in the restaurant but they were just talking and complete oblivious to the appearance of the restaurant and how it could impact the customer perception. I have to say that I will never again would visit that place and would caution anyone else to doing so. I can't imagine if the front of the store looked like that, how the cooking and food preparation area may looked. The managers of this places need to make sure that they educate their employees about the importance proper hygiene and sanitation of a eating establishment. I know that many of those employees come from low income families and they may lacked higher education but I'm a strong believer that poverty and nastiness do not need to go...
