Happys Pizza’s Owner is absolutely AMAZING!!! Tonight I had a horrible experience with DoorDash while ordering from Happys Pizza (23/gratiot chesterfield location). My order was reassigned not once, not twice, but 3 times. The first dasher picked up my food and told DoorDash there was an issue, making DoorDash reassign my dasher. Happys remade my order and the second dasher picked up my order and told me the store was closed and that my order should have been canceled. I contacted DoorDash and told them the issue. DD support told me the store was in fact open and they would reassign my order to the third driver. I finally called happys pizza and explained my situation and why I was so confused. I spoke with the owner and he was very nice and helpful over the phone. He explained to me that the first two dashers picked up my food and took it! The owner told me he was going to personally make my order again for the THIRD time and deliver it to me! I offered to just come pick it up and pay for it In person, he politely declined my offer and told me he just wants happy customers. Read moreTonight we ordered their 24.99 special they advertise, only to be overcharged for the meal. Instead of trying to figure out how this happened, the two workers - children of the owner I assumed - told me they didn’t in fact overcharge us and that “they were just pressing buttons on the screen” so it had to be the right price. On top of this, whoever answered the phone when we ordered told us their 2lb wings were cheaper than their menu price, and in the same conversation as before, told us they were ALWAYS that price and that the workers DIDN’T say their wings were cheaper (16.99 vs 25.99). This was a separate over-charge that I’m willing to take if it was misspoken, but i’m fairly confident in our memory and was more taken back by the gaslighting done by the two workers tonight. And after arguing with the owners children, they talked to themselves to “pass this off to Dad” to handle us. Horrible customer service, my family and I will never be ordering from this store and I hope this review saves someone...
Read moreOrdered before from here and it's been decent, however today i got a burger an hour just before close regretfully and got a "medium well done" burger with barely cooked bacon and cheese, apparently they cook the bacon and everything separately, the funny thing is the guy who cooked it claimed it was cooked before it was on the burger and while the burger cooked. Yet it was the most undercooked out of all ingredients ironically. Was told the best they could do is recook me some bacon or 10% off next order i told them I'll just take it as a loss, and never order here again. was gonna get a hold of corporate but it'll probably be to much of a hassle. Beware ordering here the manager/cook whoever doesn't budge and is incapable of keeping customers happy and stands tall covering his mistake and takes no responsibility to fix the issue.
