Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

Update: I tried this place again after a year of not patronizing this location. Worse mistake. The seitan meat was not cooked properly, and the sandwich had absolutely no flavor. I’ve never had a sandwich this bad. I took a picture of the seitan. I wondered if this was intentional. It was a lot of talking going on while cooking. The meat was in chunks, no seasonings or flavor. I had to toss the entire sandwich. How to you ruin a sandwich you make daily?

Beware of this location. I was intentionally overcharged for vegan substitute. The cashier once asked why my bill was higher than the previous week for the exact same order said, she thinks vegan substitute is an up charge. When I asked several times to double check with the manager, she ignored me. I called the manager who was just as bad as her employee and said she would call corporate to ask and call me back. She never called back until I completed the survey from my receipt. It was then she called and said she lost my number but would offer me a free smoothie when I come back. Clean- lots of healthy choices in smoothies,wraps and other healthy options. Steady stream of people coming in. The bbq pork was delicious. I had the Tropical smoothy very tasty. I also liked that the employees were wearing casual/ shorts- which kept with the Tropical theme. Very nice employees- explained options the first time I was there- and when I came back again a few days later- since it was so good. Update:8/1/2021⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It appears that for the last year or so - Tropical Smoothy continues to be our go to place when we venture out. Still great service at the Chesterfield location. EVERY time I have been in that store-very polite and exceptional service! The employees look you in the eye and really care about what they are making individually for you. Upbeat/happy/younger employees that all seem to have that Wow factor. (Management: I congratulate you on hiring really awesome people!) It is a busy location however wait...

I'm an essential worker that comes to this tropical smoothie at least 3x a week and spend my hard earned cash. I stop in today to use the rest room (side note all of the employees knows me from coming in weekly ) I was in a hurry today and needed a public rest where I felt safe to use and was told I couldn't use the rest room if I'm not a paying customer and was told that I had to buy something to use the rest room.
