The only reason I keep returning to this McDonald's is it's right between where I live and where I work and has a dollar menu. I've never had any specifically bad experiences, but I've also never had any particularly good ones. Usually lackluster staff or occasionally getting orders slightly wrong. Annoying stuff but not the end of the world. BUT if there was another very convenient, cheap place I could stop into, I would go there. I stopped by here for a quick dinner before heading to work. I went through the drive-thru and the guy at the speaker kept asking me to clarify what I ordered then they still somehow got it wrong. I ordered a double cheeseburger and a large Coke with no ice. The Coke came out with a TON of ice in it so I politely told the person at the window that I asked for Coke with OUT ice. He looked at me like I had three arms then refused to give me Coke without ice. "I can't take that one back because covid and the order doesn't say no ice." I look at the receipt and sure enough, it just says Large Coke. I don't want to keep my soda sitting at my work station all night getting watered down so I pull into a parking spot to scoop the ice out myself, leaving me with a little over a half of a cup full. I ordered a large so I had something to sip on for a while throughout the night but now I probably have the equivalent of a medium. At least all the sizes are the same price... Then I go to get my burger out of the bag. They didn't have it wrapped. From what I saw as I took it out of the bag (it all happened so fast,) the paper was kind of folded in half over the burger. I'm used to it being securely wrapped (or at least looking like they tried) so when I picked it up, I wasn't as careful as I apparently should have been because the burger, looking like it had been fully submerged in ketchup, tumbled into my floorboard splashing onto my work bag. All that stuff is now COVERED in ketchup. I go inside to get this sorted out and even though I had my receipt and a picture of my ruined work stuff, they refused to give me another burger or even apologize. The guy skirted around the issue before blaming me. So now I don't have dinner or most of the soda and my work bag and some of my clothes are covered in ketchup. I didn't have time to take care of any of it without being late for work.
EDIT: I tried adding the pictures but it...
Read moreI used to love this location. I have fond memories of this location. Time after time I have looked over mistakes made here but I give up. They never fill the fries up appropriately. Their machines are always down. The food never tastes fresh, even during peak times. The drive thru speaker is either broken or their employees are deaf. Normally the employees are okay, sometimes even nice. There are at least 3 people who work here that are always nice and a pleasure to see. But recently, anytime I go it seems nobody knows what their doing. The other day I came to this specific location twice. Once at the end of mid shift, and once during the evening shift. The first time I came just as the evening shift was arriving. I always ask for my 5 year olds burger with extra pickles and extra ketchup. They always only put one pickle . And every time my child looks at me and says mommy they messed up again. One time a manager told the employee they didn't even put the necessary 3 pickles. So a burger should have 3 pickles, and I order extra pickles and we only get one. This has happened at least 4 times. What has me fed up with this location to the point of no return, is when I went that same evening, to buy family for my family. I inquired before ordering what the dollar burger was, they told me cheeseburger, hamburger, and mcdouble. I ordered many of them for my large family, and thought the price was high. I realized that they were 2$ each which is a difference when I am feeding a family of 8 people. I decided okay whatever mistakes happen. Then I get to the window and I am informed that the coffee drink that I ordered with an espresso shot did not have the espresso shot. The cashier says, their is no espresso shot in your drink because the machine is down. I said did I pay for that? * at this point I hear another work say WHAT DID SHE SAY? * So I look at my receipt and yes , I did pay for the shot. I said I would deal with this later, and I did say it's fine because at this point I am just very upset. Mcdonald's is a cheap easy meal for take out, but papa john's is just across the street and feeds a family of 8 better tasting than this mcdonald's for just a...
Read moreI was in the drive thru, Christian (says he’s the manager) asked can he help me, I said give me a minute. He came right back saying that I need to hurry up that there are people who knows what they want and are ready to order. I asked him not to do that, be rude, and he said again you need to hurry up. This was a matter of just a few minutes. So I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager. I asked his name and he refused to give it to me and went back to saying what do you want to order. Now I know the black guy, don’t know his name, is a manager, very nice because when I come inside, I usually see him. At this point I felt very uncomfortable and didn’t order anything and proceeded through the line. When I got to the first window, I asked for a manager, he said he was so I asked for his name again and he said Christian, not sure if he was telling the truth or even knew that I was the person he was going back n forth with. I let him know I would report his rudeness to corporate and he said he didn’t care and have a nice day. I went to the second window, asked for a manager and the black guy I know came to the window. Told him what happened and he said he would take care of it. Christian is very rude, disrespectful, obnoxious, and arrogant! I have never encountered nobody so disrespectful at this location or any fast food restaurant period. He’s needs to go back to the training board and get some customer...
