Labor Day Hero!

We visited Blue Raven Brewery in Cheyenne on Labor Day and were surprised to see only one bartender, Molly, working the entire day. Despite the overwhelming situation, she was absolutely incredible. She stayed calm, moved quickly, and handled a full house of customers with professionalism and grace. She took orders, poured drinks, cleaned up, and managed incredibly rude customers without missing a beat. Her dedication and composure were beyond impressive.

That said, it was very disappointing to see that the brewery did not provide her with any support on such a busy holiday. No matter how capable an employee is, it is unfair to expect one person to manage that kind of volume alone. Labor Day is typically a high-traffic day, and it was clear the staffing decisions did not reflect that.

The bartender deserves recognition for going above and beyond, but management should take a serious look at how they staff and support their team, especially on major holidays. We love the atmosphere and the beer, but we hope to see the brewery do better by its employees...

This disheartening review comes due to our experience with their waitress who, although is very good at multitasking, unfortunately, and more importantly, has zero concern or respect for understanding if a patron is having a good experience or not. Her immediate dismissiveness of simply laying the scene to our concerns caused us to finish our evening elsewhere. The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1 is the stellar atmosphere, games, and pet friendly vibe. However, no matter what one does physically, if basic personable needs aren't met and quality of menu items shift instantly with no explanation, no amount of ambiance can overcome...

We've been to this location on several occasions, but this is the first time we've been to it as Blue Raven. I'll have to say that we were enchanted. The interior has a very friendly ambience, but the outdoor spaces are simply amazing. The upgrades are substantial. It has multiple unique sitting areas, heaters, TVs, swings, sun and shade.... All outdoors so that you can be comfortable in any season. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the outdoors in February. The beer is also excellent.
