The food was ok....the guy that took my order came from the back with black gloves on, he took my order and payment with the same gloves on. He also went to make my food with those same gloves on. I yelled out to him telling him to change his gloves and to grab me a fresh pita bread because he just touched God knows what before I got there to order, then he took my cash payment with those gloves then went to go make my food, he seemed confused as to why I asked him to change his gloves which let me know this is something he does. Big no no!!! I could see everything he was doing otherwise I would have gotten a refund which I should have just did off back after seeing that. I realized after the fact, that restaurant probably doesn't practice good sanitation even with food prepping. I will not eat there again!!!
"Response from the owner 2 hours ago Hi Alii, We’re sorry to hear you had concerns during your visit. However, we’d like to clarify that the real issue arose when you declined to pay the standard charge for additional fries and pita bread."
I ordered a Gyro on pita with fries (it comes with fries, no need for additional fries and one pita bread is all that's needed for the amount of meat given) so there was no issue with what I ordered or the cost otherwise, I simply could have went somewhere else to eat!!! You have the wrong customer in mind.....the REAL ISSUE was the man used the same gloves for everything he touched and I asked him to change his gloves before preparing my food. The response to my review also...

Read moreI’ve seen a ton of NYC middle Eastern street food on socials, but there’s a spot in Chicago that I had to try out. The falafel here is spiced right and the chickpea flavor had a nutty taste, but the garlic sauce ironed out the taste buds. The yeero wrap is loaded with a refreshing variation of the Jerusalem salad, and definitely go heavy on the garlic sauce again. My favorite item was the lamb over rice and I got that with you guessed it, garlic sauce but also added the chili sauce to bring up the heat level a little bit. The lamb was juicy and the weight of the platter is actually pretty heavy. The platter has the salad to offset the heaviness of the rice and lamb which I appreciated. We also tried the loaded fries and did the mixed protein option to really send it over the top. The loaded fries had all three sauces and I mixed the fries up to have all of the flavors in one bite. Genuinely this place has great portion sizes and really hit the...
