Note update below. Wanted to order lobster rolls since they were delivering in our area. Placed the order for Thursday. On Tuesday go a notification that the order was arriving that day. E-mailed a query and were told that the notice was a mistake. On Thursday, after inviting two people over for lobster rolls, the rolls didn't show up. They use a "Shop" app which sometimes says the order has been delivered and sometimes says it's being delivered. On further inspection we saw that the delivery was to be "Thursday 12/6", but Thursday is the 5th. We've ordered from them before. We won't again. Update: The owner e-mailed a real apology. Said it was his fault--he'd left the order behind when he did deliveries. Refunded order, but let us have the same order again, at no charge on a date of our choosing and threw in some extras. Clearly, this is a man who wants satisfied customers. And the quality of the product was never an issue. They are delicious...

I love lobster and in Chicagoland, I have tried plenty. Happy Lobster Truck beats the competition whether brick and mortar or on wheels. Unlike some of the others, you can taste how fresh the lobster is. The sandwich itself is well-balanced. And the value of how much you get for what you pay is unparalleled. You don’t get nickel and dime’d. More meat plus the slaw and chips are included in the sandwich price. And maybe best of all are the people. Ryan has been out in my direction with his stops for over a year and EVERY experience is excellent. He remembers who I am, how I like my sandwiches, and the meal is perfect without fail. Great people and great food make it easy for me to be a regular and recommend Happy Lobster Truck to family, friends, and coworkers. I truly appreciate Ryan and Happy...

This place is inside a spacious food mall. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I went inside the mall. I walked around to see what all restaurants were there and came upon this place and as much as I love lobster, I knew I wanted to try them.

The wait was about 7-8 minutes, which I didn't mind as I was with a buddy to eat lunch there at the mall. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese and fries. When I opened the wrapper, the angels were already humming. Looked delicious. I took one bite and was in instant HEAVEN. Flavorful and so good! Fries were seasoned well and yummy. The price is worth it as it is lobster. This was definitely a gourmet sandwich.

I can't wait to come back. Staff was friendly. Thank you The Happy Lobster, you've got a new and soon returning customer outta...

Unhelpful staff serving up seemingly fake, tasteless lobster. I was extremely excited to order a lobster sandwich after seeing the pictures online, but I was extremely disappointed with my food. No wonder I was the ONLY one in Washington Hall that ordered food from here for the hour I was present with my family. I got the Honey G which was supposed to be a bit spicy, but it wasn’t at all and like I said it was very tasteless. I’d never recommend anyone choose this of all the other places in Washington Hall. You’re better off at the hotdog place right next door. I mean come on $29 for a whack lobster sandwich with one drink? An absolute scam. Please don’t disappoint yourself.
