Stopped in this morning in the drive thru. Always a wait but normally my food is on point. I ordered a egg white cheddar bacon biscuit meal supposedly is freshly grilled to order yeah ok. I get to work the minute I pull the sandwich out of the bag I can feel how hard the biscuit is, Im hungry so I attempt to eat around the edges but unfortunatley for me I couldnt. Not only was the biscuit hard as a brick the egg is hard and curtled so that sandwhich had to have been sitting for a long period of time. So I call to speak to the store manager, whoever Erica is, answers the phone. I ask for the store manager she says, what's wrong? I say again, may I speak to the store manager, she say's again what's wrong, I say again may I speak to the store manager, she says I am, I asked for her name she says Erica, I explain about the food, I tell her I am at work and I couldn't eat the food and I wanted solution. She asks me do I have the sandwhich I tell her no I threw it out she says well in order for me to replace the food or give you your money back, I will need the sandwhich. I said so I can get what's in the garbage out but I'm at work so I will not be able to bring it back until tomorrow, she said that's fine. I asked her if she was serious she said yes, so I asked for the number to her district manager, she says Maria, I said her number oh it's the same number to the store, I said your district manager will be at your store, she says no she is my store manager, so now I am mad! I tell her when I called you told me you was the store manager, who are you? She says I'm the crew manager but maria will be here today after 1 p.m. I said ok I will be calling back to talk to Maria and I will be asking to speak to Maria's boss as well. I don't appreciate being lied to and never in my life time have I been asked to bring some thrown out food back in order to get reimbursed or the food replaced and I am telling you I won't be able to bring it back until tomorrow morning before work. I knew than she was not a...
Read moreMy experience at the 207 E. 35th McDonald’s in Chicago, Illinois started with the order taker not properly greeting customers in the drive through. I was greeted with a nonchalant monotone voice that said “Go head”. So that was the first issue. What happened to the standard “welcome to McDonald’s …greetings? Secondly, I ordered a double fish sandwich meal and I substituted the soda with a strawberry milk shake. A guy with extremely dirty fingernails named Derrick handed me a vanilla milkshake then he tried to convince me that it was a strawberry milkshake when clearly there is no color in the there. I went back and forth with him on it not being strawberry then he told me to taste it so I did and it taste like a vanilla milk milkshake. He also stated that he would make me another one and that I could keep the one that he gave me but that wasn’t the case. Meanwhile I could hear his coworker stating “that’s just how it is, it’s going to come out the same way.” Derrick came back with a half full cup with the same vanilla mix to show me that’s what the strawberry button is producing. Then to make matters worse I was subjected to their faulty sliding window that kept opening and closing and it made a loud noise so that raised my stress level even more. When dirty finger nail Derrick finally brought my order to the faulty window, he informed me that he gave me a large order of fries (that I didn’t want or need) to make up for the milkshake. In addition, when I reached my destination I discovered that there was no napkins or condiments in the bag. I’m giving them one star because there were entirely too many issues for one visit. And your staff needs to practice better hygiene and clean their fingernails. This makes me think that he doesn’t bath considering the condition of his nails. In hindsight, I should’ve just asked...
Read moreThis morning, Waiting on my food after paying, I noticed a Red suv holding up the drive thru. Instead of someone telling her to go to the second window or come inside, due to her having an issue with her order, they decided to hold up the line. People have to go to work, I was by the way working. Order, order, order is all I have to say, Please get it together, please have your businesses in better order, if I am paying for my food. When I finally made it to the window, I asked her nicely when she has customers like that, to have them go to the second window or they need to come inside. Instead of agreeing, which she has the right to not agree and or thank me, she said the lady was on her phone also. She rudely walks away and says I can't make anyone come inside 🤔🤔🤭 Yes you can, if she's holding up the line, which she allowed hwr to hold the line up, and she looked like a supervisor and didn't care obviously after other people paid for their food, people was beeping the horn. I heard she couldn't find her receipt and she just sat there after receiving her food. After waiting over 5 minutes, I get to the window my order could have at least been ready to hand to me and of course I had to wait. Even people inside was complaining, saying all their doing is walking pass, walking by them. This right here is why I like going to certain located food spots, better service. The only reason today, was that I...
