Absolutely horrible service. The servers had a bad attitude, through my food on the counter. I ignored the first order but when she did it again with the second order, I pardoned her and brought it to her attention. She continued to get loud and be disrespectful and tried to tell me off. I said excuse me but I would not accuse you if you dud not do it. She wsnted to argue. I had to pause. I calmly told her that she can keep her food and dud not pay and walked out. Like why am I arguing with this chick on such a beautiful bessed day. Oh, no! I refuse to be treated with such disrespect. I gracefully walked out and drove to my favorite Subway up the street on 35th and Indiana; the cleanest Subway in the city with the freshest toppings and appealing customer service.
I hadn't been to the on one Indiana in over a year. When I entered, I was greeted and then asked if I was having my usual. Oh my gosh! What a relief. The outside area is turning around for the better. There was foot patrol to clean up the loose traffic that has plagued the area for years.
As far as Subway in the mall area at 35th and Rhodes, they should just close if they can not provide respectable service. Take lessons from up the street. You're not the only Subway in the area.
If you can't respect the people you serve; don't serve. We don't want your business in Bronzeville. Bye!
We cleaned up Starbuck on 35th, you are now on the radar.
We don't appreciate...
Read moreTerrible customer service! I will never eat at Subway again thanks to this location. I asked for a steak and cheese sandwich with no bread. The sandwich assembler gave me a crazy look and said "No." I then asked if I could have the meat in a bowl. He asked if I wanted a salad, and I told him no. Just the meet and cheese in a bowl. He again said "No." Growing frustrated, I asked for a footlong steak sandwich and I told him that I'd give him the bread back. As I was paying for my sandwich, I asked if I could have a bowl. After much confusion over this request, I was told "No." I offered to pay and was again refused and it was explained that they don't give bowls unless I paid the salad price. At this point I informed the workers that I would be calling customer service. I was then given the option to pay $1 for a bowl. Magically the price for a bowl went from the cost of a salad, to $1. These people are terrible. Subway has gone down in quality over the past few years, but they're letting these inconsiderate, customer ignorant franchisers ruin their brand! Jimmy John's for the win. Much better...
Read moreI had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this location. From the moment I walked in, the employee was extremely rude and aggressive. She asked me questions in a harsh tone, slammed my bread down, and kept rushing me through my order.
She asked if I wanted cheese, and I said yes. I briefly turned to talk to the person I was with, and when I looked back, my sandwich was already in the oven — even though I was never asked if I wanted it toasted. When I questioned her, she claimed she asked me twice, which was completely false. The last thing she asked me was if I wanted cheese.
Instead of trying to fix the issue, she snatched the sandwich out of the oven, slammed it on the counter, and rudely asked what I wanted. I told her I didn’t want that sandwich because I never asked for it to be toasted, and she responded by saying she would not remake it or continue helping me. I left without my food and felt completely disrespected.
This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and I hope management takes action. I won’t be returning to...
