I probably will not be returning to this location unless this “privately owned” Culver’s location changes its ridiculous policies. We came in with a coupon that was emailed to us for THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION. On the coupon it specifically said to present it in either printed or mobile format, upon our arrival we were rudely ordered to dine on one side of the restaurant without explanation and refused use of the coupon. The manager on duty stated that this was a privately owned location and that the owner had instituted a policy that all coupons had to be printed. It’s 15 days from 2019 and they expect people to print a coupon. Who comes to Culver’s with printed coupons. While I can sympathize somewhat with the manager on duty as he is following orders, this policy is the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in a long time, and clearly an attempt to lure people in with the promise of a cheap meal only to have them settle for paying full price. We’ll be going to portillos.

Be very careful with this location because they will put anything in your food. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and chicken sandwich the other night around (9:55-10pm) 5/8/24… I specifically asked for mayo and pickles ONLY on the chicken sandwich, so that’s what was expected. There were onions on the chicken sandwich when I checked it and I was livid. The chicken sandwich was for my daughter and I’m grateful that I checked it before she bit into it. Onions don’t even come on that sandwich, but it seems Culver’s has some incompetent employees. My daughter could’ve been in the hospital because she’s allergic. If I had taken her to the hospital, this incident would’ve went straight to the higher ups immediately. They definitely need better training and it’s just way too much attitude from the female employees. I’m still reporting this incident regardless because that’s a serious health hazard they could’ve caused. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this location.

Omg you have to try this place. A friend of mine suggested this place while I was on vacation. I had the double butter burger meal, and it did everything and then some. From the toasted bun to the crispy lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to the mouth-watering beef patties and melted cheese. The side of fries were hot and crispy. Dare I say AMAZING!!! I also had the cheese curds and marinara sauce, and it's like they perfected popable mozzarella sticks. The host, cashier, and server were also pleasant. The ambiance also spoke to the history of the neighborhood. Best place to go if you're feeling homesick. I didn't get to try the frozen custard because of how full I was from everything else. But it's definitely on the list for next time.

On 7/25/24, I called to inquire about menu item pricing not showing on this locations site menu to place an order for pick up, which I found out it was only online or to come in to place an order. I explained in detail to a staffer what I wanted, and the best pricing suggestion was made, and I went with that. It came out to $27+. I'm a senior, and when I got my food, the sandwiches were so soggy and sloppily made they barely held together from slipping on all the mayo applied and the wilted lettuce. The fries were cold and the custard shake wasn't stirred or made the "old fashion way." The food experience was awful. The order preparation was very poor, but I had to eat it because I had nothing else at the time. I called to complain to the manager, and the only compensation provided was "I'll watch to see that things are done better or bring back the food to be remade," which takes gas. It could have been an apology or compensation of "Can I take your name and if you're in the area again, we can redo that bad order." There's some retraining to be done of food staff and managers to make customers paying high prices for a couple of burger meals feel like it was worth the time and travel to this location. Service providers are lazy, and I do not recommend this location on 35th King Drive. This was my 3rd try with them and I'm on a fixed income. I'll never go back. They do not live up to commercial promotion....

Staff is well trained in Customer Service. Burgers are good too. Sometimes the owner is there humbly checking on the guest without even saying he's the owner. That's a nice touch in our neighborhood. They get the orders right on first try. They're quick both inside and drive thru. Hoping they'll have outdoor seating in the summer. The only other thing is, I wish there was some hand sanitizer for the guest. Anyway, I tend to avoid the other fast food restaurants around here like a plague. Culver's is a real treat.

Update: I use to go there a lot with a friend of mine. Unfortunately, he went there one evening almost 2 months ago in the evening. He ordered his favorite Deluxe meal and went home to eat before it was too late. He's very finicky about his food and the time he eats because of heartburn. Once he got home and settled down to eat, his deluxe had NO MEAT in the burger. He was so angry and refused to go back. He feels it was done deliberately, for some reason. He use to always talk about how well the staff was trained and he liked seeing the owner there. There was a sense of pride. I have suggested on numerous occassions that he speak to the manager or owner, perhaps it's a gap in quality control that can be fixed if they know it is happening. We haven't been back since and I can't seem to convince him. However, I still believe the owner has the...

I have been to Culver’s several several several times in the past! I would like to know when did it become policy that only the flavor of the day custard could be ordered through the drive! So as I’m sitting here waiting for my food my mind is blown. So when they bring my order to my vehicle I mentioned it the young lady (who by the way was the ONLY BRIGHT MOMENT of this whole debacle) Now I’m being told oh the drive up was confused they thought you were asking for a kids scoop! I CLEARLY stated “I would like a double scoop strawberry and banana sundae!” Before I could complete my order I was told “no, we only have the flavor of the day ma’am!” I reiterated soooo you guys are only serving the flavor of the day?!? And the response was “yes, you want that doubled?” Ummmm no I don’t want it at all! I completed my order and drove up to the window! Like stated earlier the young lady at the curbside has a beautiful spirit and was as helpful as she could have been. They offered to make the sundae as I requested after the fact but at this point now I have trust issues. I’m not sure how something so simple as requesting a “double scoop strawberry and banana sundae” could have been misconstrued for anything but what it was but I’m good on Culver’s located at King Dr on the south side...
