Fantastic all around. I'm glad there was a line at Goddess because we went here instead, and had a great experience. The carnitas quesadilla was delicious, customer service was great, and atmosphere cheerful. Go here if you don't want to deal with the apathetic attitude at Goddess and if you want to eat good Tex-Mex food. It's better than other Mexican places I've been to on the north side. I plan to return to try the breakfast.

The owner of this restaurant is a sweetheart! Very kind and hard working. The tacos were fabulous and so affordable! We did pork tacos and breakfast tacos. She didn’t sell Topo Chico and recommended we stop by the grocery next door and BYOB- which was very kind of her. The place could use a little organizing, you can tell this is a one woman run business. She’s doing a really great job, it was a delight.

Counter Service. Only Tex-Mex I appreciate. Excellent food prep, seasoning, price and portion. Only decent food in this neighborhood. Perfect GREEN CHORIZO BREAKFAST SANDWICH - toasted bread, moist 1-pc scrambled egg, good chunk of chorizo. Bottomless LA COLOMBE coffee. 1-Star less for Operational Issues: table cleanup, bit of clutter, smoke/cloudy air in dining room that makes your eyes watery.

Grossly Overpriced for Poor Quality and Service. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Taco meal with Potatoes and Elotes. The Shrimp was chewy like it had just been un-thawed. The potatoes and elotes were flavorless. Not to mention, the woman behind the counter continually bashing the young guy taking orders when she couldn't prepare the meal properly. The atmosphere was just completely unorganized and I would never return here or recommend this place to my coworkers for lunch. Find an AUTHENTIC...

I will be upfront, this is NOT a review of the food or the service, this is a review of their ability to communicate. It just took me 10 seconds to update the opening hours/days on Google. If I can do this to correct it for them, then why didn't they do it? I checked the menu on the website (see screenshot) and it said breakfast served all hours on "weekends". The Google hours say open 7 days a week. We go on Father's Day and it is closed. Maybe I will try it again at some point...

I really don’t understand how this place has such good reviews.

The second we walked in we got a weird vibe from it. We still gave it a shot. The lady working there didn’t write down a single thing we ordered. She asked several times to repeat the order while she was “cooking” it.

While she was in the back she turned on music to try to mask the sound of her microwaving all the food. Everything we were served was very bland microwaved food.
