I went here for my birthday on Dec 18th to start my day off right, and we had the best customer experience ever, the ladies working were incredibly nice, chatty, polite, and they even through in an extra infusion into my drink because of my birthday! Not only that, they had a movie playing in the background that was great to watch while enjoying our drinks, and then one of the ladies working there even gave us a bag of gummies on the house! Then we came back on the 20th and had two other ladies working and they were just as awesome to talk with while we waited for our train back home we waited in there for an hour and a half, they let us try their Blazing Banana rice crispy treats. The were incredible! Such kind souls that really made us feel welcomed. And then gave us ANOTHER bag (sugar cookies this time) on the house!!! Not only the employees were awesome, so were the other people we met and chatted too while there, it had a great atmosphere and was very clean too! This was hands down the best place to go to and I will be coming back every time!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Wake and Bakery. The infused drinks were great, and the edibles were delicious!😋 We even came back the next morning for infused lattes!

Happened upon this gem while waiting for a spot at the Escape Game. Just wanted to grab a coffee, & honestly I'm so glad I stopped in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I opted for a White Widow with their lowest THC, since I can't indulge often, due to work. They upgraded my drink to the next level since it was my birthday, which was an awesome surprise! The coffee was flavorful and had me feeling amazing through my entire downtown adventure. It was kinda pricey, ($19.41 for a large coffee w/ 10mg & $3 tip) but maybe I'm just not used to the prices of thc infused items, lol, & hey, it's downtown Chicago. Totally worth it though for the experience. Will certainly be returning to try their baked options as well. Highly recommend!

Myself and a group of friends came from Georgia and decided to go to this place as a small trip. We took a early flight and we decided to go to this place due to of us finding this location and she was interested in trying out the place, I was the last one to get an order and I had a hard time deciding which drink that I wanted I decided to go with a cold beverage. It was a tea and I added mango to my drink. I got the lowest dosage, as I have had a THC drink before and it does not take so much as I was trying to decide which drinks to get both of the young ladies were going back-and-forth on trying to help me decide and I ended up just picking something on my own because neither one of them had a valid suggestion . Upon looking at the menu, they don’t tell you how many milligrams per dose or on the menu below. Does it tell you how many milligrams per dose of the drink size so if you are new to any of the THC drinks either one of the women may not be any good to you because I told them this was my first time no one suggested a drink for a first time or anything like that , all in all as this was a day trip for me I had my beverage and the day was a disaster. We had brunch the next few moments, and as my drink began to settle in I began to feel like I was literally having episodes not too long after I literally had a seizure Down the street I was taken to the hospital and not too long after that as my friends had to continue on for the trip, they saw a long line on the outside of the building leading to the place. Yes everyone’s tolerance and experience is different however, I would advise this company to put up better markings as far as , the actual tolerance level for THC in each drink for sizing as well for those who may not do that on the regular who may be more smokers than those who want to try and drink. It was a terrible experience. I spent half of my time in the hospital, I cannot enjoy my day. It was nothing worse than going to a new city and not being able to really partaking it due to , this high that was uncontrollable I literally collapsed to my knees. For them to be professionals or people who say that they know everybody has a different tolerance they clearly are not aware of the markets of people who come in and out of those doors so I urge the next person who is after me or someone who is interested in taking that journey to not go here maybe go somewhere where they’re a little bit more detailed and can give you a little more depth and what you’re drinking and what’s...

I’m from Colorado and I came to Chicago to visit my sister. We thought this bakery would be a fun midday stop while we were shopping around the area. I was shocked to see that the lowest amount of THC you can add to the drinks is 30mg. The employees assured me that the THC in their drinks is derived differently and 30mg actually only feels like 10. The employees also joked that they were both high so couldn’t give me much more information about these infusions, which should have been an immediate red flag. Regardless, I smoke and take edibles almost daily at home so I figured with my tolerance and the altitude difference, 10mg would be no issue. I got the Huban Sweet Tea with the lowest amount of THC added.

Cut to 35 min later, the tea is mostly finished and I am the highest I have ever been, even including my delinquent college days. At this point it wasn’t even a fun high - I had terrible spins, a headache, heartburn, and my eyes felt like cement. I spent the rest of the day and night locked in my own body trying to convince myself I wasn’t going to die because it was just weed. I woke up the next morning still high and in total I was high for 30 hours.

I’m not sure if I got a different dose by accident but BEWARE. These drinks are no joke and I don’t think any business selling cannabis should be short selling the effects of their products as much as...
