If Google had a 0 star option I would choose that option. I have never experienced such disrespect in a club. If you like to support business who ACTUALLY care about their guests and who keeps them running, DO NOT go here. I wish my sister would have researched this place more before we wasted our time and money!! 1/5 Stars - Poor Service, Discrimination, and Unprofessional Staff
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Y Bar last weekend(3/14/25), where we celebrated my sister's birthday. Despite having a reserved section, we were treated poorly by the staff.
My 1st red flag for this place was when we 1st got there. Out of all the girls, one of them had Jordans on to match her outfit. The bouncers outside tried to say that she couldn't come in because she was not in heels. Mind you, they emailed my sister an itinerary with dress code as well, and it NEVER stated that women have to be in heels. As well on their sign outside of their door, it does NOT state that. I truly believe people try to scam guests into paying extra to get into the club with some exceptions, like bribery. Luckily for us, this was not the case. The bouncer had seen how dedicated I was into letting my friend use the heels I had on & I was going to run to my car & grab some backup heels. He just ended up letting us all in, because we were in a group already.
After that, the night took a turn for the worse when the birthday girl was kicked out for not wearing shoes, which we suspect were hidden by someone. My sister literally had her heels off in front of her, so we cannot think how 1 heel just magically disappeared. We were into the club for about 2 hours before her having no shoes on became a "problem". We were left to stand in the POURING RAIN, unable to wait inside for our group to regroup. The staff were rude and unaccommodating.
To make matters worse, they charged my sister's card without her approval, despite our request to pay cash. The security and workers were overly attentive, constantly checking our bottles and making us feel like we were being watched. We also found it ironic to see other women in the club with Airmaxes on and other types of sneakers.
We believe we were discriminated against because we were spending a significant amount of money. Our section came with two bottles, and we wanted to order another, but before we could, the birthday girl was ejected.
The security team claimed the owner didn't want my sister there anymore, but we never got to speak to the owner or understand what she did wrong. It was clear that the staff were unprofessional and untrained.
I would not recommend Y Bar to ANYONE. The poor service, discrimination, and unprofessional staff made for a disastrous birthday celebration.
Tips for Management:

Read moreWorst bar experience I’ve ever had in my life.
My friend booked her birthday event at this place, weeks in advance. Once we got there, they let everyone in except for one person who they felt was “too intoxicated.” That person was having a FULL AND CLEAR conversation with security and others around, asking why they felt like she was too intoxicated. The entire party ended up having to leave and being refunded (only because we demanded) all of the money for the section.
The bouncers were very very rude to us and ruined the entire night based off of one person. We then left and tried to go to another bar on the street, because remember we’re there for a birthday and it’s still her birthday. The owners of Y Bar called the other bar and told him not to let us in. We were not causing any problems, we just wanted an explanation as to why they would not accommodate us, as we had originally planned.
Regardless of what their rules may have been, their attitude and demeanor towards us was very degrading , and very embarrassing. We had a large group, because, like I said, we were there for a birthday event. They lost a lot of money that night, and it was a ridiculous use of power. The discrimination they were showing against us for whatever reason was uncalled for. I will definitely not be back and will be sharing the story with everyone I can so that you all do NOT fund this establishment that does not accommodate people in the way they originally say...
Read moreThe ONLY reason Ybar deserves even one star is because they SOMETIMES have decent DJs playing.
Outside of that, Ybar is a terrible experience. I have been to Ybar twice. Each time the security acted not only power hungry and condescending, but completely disrespectful. Prior to entry, a bag search is required. I go to clubs all the time and most of them search your bag, usually consisting of a look in the bag, maybe a feel around. At Ybar, the disrespectfully took EVERYTHING out of my medium sized purse, opened every wallet and makeup in my bag, pulled cards out of my walled, and completely disrespected ALL boundaries.
On top the the overly excessive searching, a friend of mine that works as a promoter for Ybar invited me out and offered me a free bottle and section to celebrate my birthday. Ybar then wouldn’t let me in without giving them my card and charged me $100, including a $50 tip for the bottle girl who came to the table to drop the bottle off and never came back. They also made my friend pay to check her coat after doing a search of the coat even though we had out own section and the rest of the party’s coats were at the table.
The security does not know how to mind their business or be respectful, the promoters lie to ge you in the door, and they will charge you for every little thing they possibly can....
